She posted these because she must still get messages asking 'where are your kids? it's Easter ffs!' but then ironically she ends up coming off worse when she posts pictures of what she actually got them. Remember how much effort Jen used to put into everything before she had kids? Her guest room setup, for example? And now she has two kids that would actually appreciate the OrganizedLikeJen-style effort she can barely be bothered to throw together some baskets for them? Why do they need money?! Those kids want for nothing when they're with dad. If the kids don't eat the previous candy, why not get them different candy that they actually like? Or do they never get around to eating it because they're barely at her house these days?

We did Easter with a lot of teens in attendance and my 5 y/o was the only little guy. The hosts did an egg hunt with the “golden eggs” being a few $5 bills or the grand prize $10 wawa gift card. My 5 y/o LOVES wawa and got the grand prize to the chagrin of all the teens. He still asked me the entire drive home why there wasn’t any candy in his big prize egg. Kids that age thinking money is an upgrade?? Particularly kids who likely want for nothing in terms of finances? Sure Jan.
If you didn’t want to do candy you could have hidden little Lego figurines in eggs around the house since Lego is currently their “favorite” thing.

It’s embarrassing for Jen that she can’t read this.
Jen doesn’t care about anything besides the performance. She only did Easter because everyone else with kids will be posting pics, heaven forbid Jen not conform. So much for “wild”.
