I really hate Star Wars Jen. I love Star Wars and she annoys me to no end when she fake fan-girls Star Wars. If she truly loved it she would introduce it to the kids. Kids love Star Wars. DS watched the original trilogy on VHS at 4 years old. 25 years later, we both love Star Wars. I will be glad when she gets bored with it. Leave my happy place alone, Jen!!
Also, I raised my DS as a full-time working SINGLE MOTHER. His dad lived 500 miles away and saw him about once a year for a weekend. I lived pay check to pay check. I took DS to all kinds of events. I loved seeing concerts, plays, festivals, sporting events thru his eyes. My house was the hang out house for him and his friends. As adults, his childhood friends still call me Mom. I always wished I had more $$ to take DS on more extravagant trips. But we both cherish the trips we had when he was younger. She is missing out on so much.
