NYE…so many annoying voices and Jen calling everything beauteous 🙄. I think Don and Jen were only 28 or 29 back then. Hanging with senior citizens eating cubed cheese, how boring.

Never an opportunity missed to make fun of Don with the hair and the sunglasses. Also, yes Jen, it's New Year's Rockin Eve, Don was correct but was afraid to speak up for himself.
Not gonna lie, I could go for those pulled pork sandwiches right about now, but I will pass on the finger-scooped deviled eggs.
The baby talk was on high.
I had never seen Winnie so animated when Jeff was there. It was almost like she was begging him to rescue her (bad idea, tho).

I had pulled pork for dinner & thought of Don 
Julie said beautious in the previous vlog and then Jen repeated it right away. It seems that she stole every single mannerism and idea from Suzanne's fam. Dude, you tried to be your husband's mom. Gross.

It’s always been interesting to me that even with her “heart home, forever family” schtick, the senior Rosses bathtub was the only one in the entire house that was good enough for our Gene. She totally thought that house would be hers one day.

I can see why Jen felt comfortable in that family. There's a menu because...? The exact same meal every year with unnecessary steps, micromanaging every pointless detail. She was so lucky to have the built-in support network of Don's family. It gave her a sense of belonging. Now I'm sure she's going to go on Disney cruises every NYE just so she doesn't have to be alone.

Right? The Rosses were 99.9% of her social life. They seemed warm and accepting of Jen, even if only to humor their son. She was so smug when she was talking about how none of that would change with the divorce, and the "fam jam" would all still be there for her. I think Emily was the first of all of them to make the exodus.

The Rosses have the dorkiest “parties.” Fawning over Emily’s puffy paint 2013 and her boasting in her grating voice about cutting out the leaves for the dorky menu. The announcement of a tutorial on how to do oyster shots, Jen acting like it was all HER party even though all she did was cut up some cheese and defrost some spinach squares.
I would’ve been happy to leave the famjam’s Utah trips in the past.

I wonder if Emily rolled her eyes everytime Jen had to "groom" Winnie.
She never knew how to end her vlogs and just drained on at the end.
I liked her NYE necklace but it didn't look like it matched her outfit. Never saw it again. Also, never saw the Coach Ipad cover she got from Aunt Julie again IIRC.

A bonus vlog day! She looooved showing off the Rosses & their lifestyle. And she needed the camera to be her security blanket. I've never seen so many people order individual appetizers (more than one for Don!), those are always for sharing in my world.
