I have travelled on my own on business trips throughout my career. No one has ever commented on me being a solo traveller as if it’s some novelty because it’s not. Jen is, as usual, making up situations in her own head, where she is judged. Forever a victim and forever special, thinking she is one of very few pioneering women to take to the road by herself.
The only annoying comments I have ever had during stays at business hotels, have been from lecherous men. Almost every female (business) traveller being by herself has encountered them, sadly.
Jen getting comments on how much she eats or on whether she is going through something shows how absolutely weird she must come across to other people.
