Yes. They live less than 10 minutes away from each other in the same suburban town. I think because the Marks are friends they will continue to stay in each others orbits but had they not shared this connection, Karen would have dropped Lauren after she departed.

One yoga class and Karen has an injured wrist....good excuse to never go again. Tho she surely was able to talk with her hands and make prayer hands while yapping away after she got home from the Dr.
She's mentioned before how she loves seeing "their kids" carrying on the same traditions they did with their kids growing up (Tho the McLovey's didn't get together until their children were older) ....but she never actually articulates what those traditions are. I mean, what could be that's so individual to them? She's said this a few times but never expands on that. And did they ever put that train up that she bought to go under their Christmas tree because I don't recall seeing that.

Of course Karen was moved by a younger woman who replied to her on IG. Gay men and women half her age are her priorities when it comes to shoutouts. She doesn’t respect the majority of her audience.
If her “number one hobby” is decorating, why doesn’t she do anything for most of the holidays? She has no hearts or cupids for Valentine’s Day, absolutely nothing for St. Patrick’s Day or Mardi Gras (such a Catholic), barely a cross or bunny for Easter, zero Americana or Patriotic decor during the summer, almost nothing or no mention of Halloween or Thanksgiving. She does fall and Christmas. This is not a passion for seasonal decorating!

She doesn’t go to flea markets or antique shops. Her number one hobby is watching The Today Show on the couch while scrolling Instagram.
