Remember when she did the written test, the realized she would have to learn a routine, memorize it, and teach it, WEEKLY? LOL, those practicals really screw up a lot of people.
It is too bad she never followed through, because if she really applied herself back then, she could have made friends. But standing up in front of 20-30 people, playing the song of the week, doing the moves, watching the group, encouraging them, back then it may have been a very slight possibility. Now, years later, she is so Main Character, so totally in her own head, it is mentally impossible for her to do it. She could have gotten so many head pats, instead she opted for choosing MEEMEMEEMEMEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

The problem with Jen dating is she does not like her own kids, and most single men her age also probably have kids, the last thing she wants to do is add anymore kids to her life, lol

I know. The whole dating thing is a huge fail before she's even started. There are many reasons why Jen is undatable at this point, but I would like to see her at least TRY and realise that she is going to have to compromise somewhere for her longer term happiness. Her current situation is getting worse and worse, and the more she isolates herself the more mentally unwell she will become. Her kids right now have no choice about spending time with her, but give it a few years and she will be relying on them for her only company, and teenagers are not famously the biggest fans of spending all their time with their parents. So for her longer term happiness she needs to at least try and find a new partner.

At first it seemed like she was open to dating, but now she’s the most closed off person. Unapproachable. Set in her worst ways.

Something happened which completely closed her off to the whole idea. One minute she's making a whole video about dating and needing The Real D, like she's ready to get out there, and the next she's getting angry any time anyone mentions or asks about it. Jen's dream man doesn't exist though. He needs to actually find her bald-self attractive, be in his 40s, have no kids or ex-wife, be extremely wealthy, be a total push over and let her have her way all the time, and be into Disney and the outdoors. Form an orderly queue, chaps!

I’ve been saying this since the split, she has too much of an internet footprint to date. She’d have to go off the internet or use a fake name.
I mean, that’s in addition to her useless personality.
Men her age either have kids and would need to blend families (see:Don & Tensleigh) or don’t have kids and don’t want anything to do with women who do. Or have older kids and don’t want to put up with her screaming banshees.
Most men her age don’t have any desire to go to Disney constantly or drive for 8+ hours to a random Airbnb to eat hummus and do Peloton meditations.
She’s not interesting or attractive in any sense of the word. And her personality is truly self absorbed and vapid.

She said she wanted to text for awhile, then calls, then Facetime before even meeting. No one isndoing that. She knew within a few texts that these couple men she talked to weren't for her. I'd rather meet, to see and hear what the other person is saying.
I bet she hit them with 20 questions right away, are you emotionally supportive, are you honest. All the things she thought Don wasn't. Just like her trying to make friends and admitting she just wanted to be in deep BFF conversations mode right away and sending extravagant gifts. Any potential dates get one strike and they're out.
And of course they would back away fast after Googling her.

Yeah, D+T were engaged 4/3. She did a live a couple days before where she said she was no longer interested in dating.
She started spiraling in January. Maybe that's when Don told her things were getting serious. Like, "I'm going to introduce my girlfriend to the kids" or something. She consigned her jewelry in early February.

I knew from the get-go that she was wasting her money, because she wouldn't complete the certification. After the in person training you have to film yourself teaching a class and submit that to be critiqued. She never did that. She only took the initial training.
