Things that are a big deal to Jen: a Mulberry box that a maid threw out. When her favorite products are out of stock. An Italian waiter wondering why she was ordering food for TWO. Souvenirs her parents deprived her of decades ago.

A while ago I was at a Lauren Daigle concert. Someone upfront had a sign about Lauren’s album getting their nana through the latest round of cancer treatment. Lauren stopped, talked to the sign holder (nana was at the concert with her) gave her some true encouraging words that acknowledged the reality she was facing and then had the entire arena pray for nana’s continued fight - which was a pretty moving and powerful thing to see whether you are religious or not. And then there’s Jennifer Ross who can’t even conjure up something that’s not a total disaster of a response.
Also she traveled around 118 days last year not including her little ventures out for theatre, concerts… etc.

Remember how she just had to have that van because Don bought one and she just loved it. Well now she says she doesn’t like it but it’s good for hauling kids. She has 2 kids. I have 2 kids and we did just fine in a 4 door sedan the whole time they were growing up. She just had to one up Don.
