Leaning more towards the theory of Don going for full custody by ways of declaring Jen an unfit mother. So she’s cancelling her plans and staying in town for court cases and to possibly prove that she’s fit.
The “we celebrate Christmas in this house.” Could have been a hint of the kids spending Christmas with her.

I just really doubt that there is dirt. She could be meaning "digging" as in messaging family members, etc., because people have done that stuff in the past. Jen is a liar and Jen WANTS people to assume the worst about Don/Tens. Jen wants people to talk about HER. Until proven otherwise, I will always believe the worst in Jen and I will give the others the benefit of the doubt.

She is essentially inviting the bakers to dig in, meaning something juicy/negative for sure is happening at Don's end which made her giddy enough to forget the pain of cancelling Disney runs. If it was something good at their end for which she has to cancel her runs, she'd have a breakdown. She wants bakers to find out what's happening.

"We celebrate Christmas in this house" is something she has been saying for a second year in a row, now. A shitty jab at Tens, I am sure.
I trust that if there is dirt to be dug, The Bakery will unearth it. This place hasn't missed a beat .
But aside from health or travel, what else can incapacitate Don so much? Even if he is separated from Tens, still doesn't make sense.

If he has Jen cancel her Disney Runs to go to second round the world honeymoon, she'd be hysteric mad. If he was doing MBA, she'd not invite the bakers to dig or hint she could do a tell-all. Again she'd be big mad for the inconvenience. I'm not sure she would have even agreed to take the kids for 3 months if it were a honeymoon or furthering education.

this is what I hate about Jen. she knew people would start to speculate like crazy about Don. she really didn't need to say anything about it yet. she could have carried on posting (or taken a break) and for now used the excuse of upcoming travel plus Christmas break, etc
of course when she missed her lil running event people would really speculate but there was no need to mention pivoting and CHAOS LOTTERY and how she could write a book one day if she wanted to but that's beneath her!! oh and by the way don't go digging!!! (please go digging everyone. I want you to see how much of a victim I am)
now people will be guessing all sorts of horrible and untrue things but she doesn't care because he caged her for years!!

She seemed smug about something, not the irritation she couldn't suppress when the Nephews wedding clashed with a race. Somehow Jenbot feels she has the upper hand even if it's making her miss races and travel. Interesting! I look forward to the Bakery Detectives conclusions on this matter.

I'm having trouble imagining anything other than a health crisis that would explain Jen having her kids a ton more than usual.
If it is criminal....the only way he wouldn't be able to see his kids is possibly if he was busted with child porn or accused of beating them or something like that. He wouldn't be sitting in jail until a trial.
Also I have a hard time imagining Don voluntarily taking a job far away from his wife and kids.

Don going for full custody wouldn’t trigger comments about single parenting or a tell all.
She said she doesn’t know how long it’s going to be but she knew it was coming for awhile.
There’s dirt somewhere. I can’t wait until someone finds it.

It's weird because when she first brought up the change in plans she was bitter about it. In today's update she seemed like she was bragging. She was acting like she is the only source of stability for the kids.

The "my kids need me at home" is interesting. I feel like that's what you'd say if they had been through/are going through some sort of trauma or loss. Rehab could be considered a trauma in my book.

That's also the vibe I got. She seemed very much at peace with missing those trips she had planned and paid for, and was very much looking forward to, and apparently, at least some of those trips would be non-refundable. She does seem to think she has the upper hand here.
If Don was trying to go to court for full custody, it could mean she would have to stay put and not travel out of state, but then it would still make no sense for her to suddenly get the children full time for months.
Something is happening with Don. But what?

She did seem totally hysterical right before Christmas when she just found out.
Seems like now that the initial shock of her having to cancel her trips and having the kids full time has passed, she can appreciate having the upper hand in whatever situation it is they're all facing right now.

Regardless of how a lot of people feel about D** , iI hope it is not a health issue for either of them. With Chubby Chin, no one knows if there is any truth at all in what she says.
It could be that his back surgery needs a redo, I fell, over a year ago, and herniated 2 disks, one in my fusion are and one above it. I could have had another surgery to remove my appliances and had new, longer ones implanted, that would have been at least 3 months to fully heal. I can see that with him, having fusion rather than the outpatient procedure he had. It should not require no visits from the kids, but it does mean a lot of no bending, lifting, twisting, lifting over 5 pounds and stretching for 6 weeks then slowly building back up.
