My theory is Don is tired of her traveling, threatened to go for full custody. It could have be a blindside for Jennifer. Her lawyer has advised her to stick close to home if she doesn’t want to lose what custody she has. So the 7/7 days start, thus interrupting her travel and you tube output.

Full disclosure… I never thought they would get divorced!! I got her about 3 months before the divorce announcement because I started digging … I knew something was off … but never thought they would divorce so quickly with such young children!!!
It also took me a good six months to believe she really read here !!!! So sometimes I’m not good at figuring Jenny out !!!!!

So I’ve been reading here all day, and I really think this boils down to Don telling Jen that he is sick of accommodating her frivolous, repetitive and unnecessary travel. He’s had what, a good two years to watch all that nonsense play out on the Internet? There is absolutely nothing necessary about Jen‘s constant traveling. She does it to escape from her miserable life, not because it’s her job and she needs the money.
I do think that he may have thrown taking full custody of the kids into the conversation to make her listen. Whether he said it with serious intent, Jen knows that if Don got full custody, she loses her child support checks - the checks that she spends on herself. He may have told her that she needs to step up and start parenting for real, or he will go to court and ask for full custody.
I don’t think she was the least bit smug in that video. She was clearly distressed at having to pivot and put the needs of her children ahead of her own. The histrionics were just an added Jen bonus. I think her eliminating most of the frivolous travel is a condition of her being allowed to continue to share custody of the kids, and she’s big mad that her high paying babysitter gig is being eliminated. Staying home this winter and being a responsible parent is probably the litmus test that future custody decisions will hinge upon. JMHO.

nope. They have enough family support between Don's family and Ten's mom plus friends plus nannie to care for the kids if that was so. Plus Jen would not be giddy. She'd be shattered.

I’m amused that so many people think that Don could get full custody in the state of Illinois just because Jen runs away every time she doesn’t have the kids.
Judges don’t take kids away from parents because they travel during their non-custodial time. What they do on their non-custodial time is irrelevant unless it is illegal or unsafe for the kids. 50/50 custody is standard and it would take something extremely egregious for any judge to veer from that.
Moving to 7/7 is completely normal and would not ground her from travel.
