It must be rough to freely run around doing what you want without a care in the world with no real worries about other people. Today my town was under evacuation orders (that were later canceled) because there's a 4+ mile grass fire raging across 3 counties right now just north of where I live that have completely destroyed at least 3 farms, killed livestock, and burned over 80,000 acres of farmland. They canceled the school bus routes going out of town because the fire jumped the highway, so we have one of my son's classmates staying at our house tonight because his mom works in a town north of the fire line and couldn't get through. Apparently their house is safe because the fire forked off before it got to them, but she's worried about their cattle and horses with the smoke inhalation. I'm worried because the smoke is in the direct line with the cemetery where my other son is buried and I really hope they get it contained before it spreads that far. There were 2 National Guard Black Hawk helicopters that flew over my house today, presumably to assist with the fires. It's been a week, that's for sure...
But hey, let's not forget that Jen does hard things like take care of her own children on occasion and has to make the rough decision of what she's going to shove in her face next.

I'm very sorry to hear about your fire warning, that's frightening.
I live near Jen, and we just came up from the basement for a tornado warning. Two alarms went off. Her basement is a lot nicer than most of my house, so I doubt it was a problem for her. Hope the kids weren't at her house, she would have had to take them out of bed to go downstairs since it happened after 7:30 ct. Wonder if she turned the green light on so they could leave their rooms?
I texted my out of state son an "I love you" as I always do when we're under some type of warning!?

Search “groclock.” It might to be the exact same one but definitely something like that. It’s a sleep training clock for little children, not grown ass elementary school aged children like Charlotte & Donny.
