She was only doing Yoga and was thin, looks like she really needed D's cooking. Now with almost 3 hours of exercise everyday and is getting heavier. She is eatting her emotions, no way she wanted that divorce.

It's crazy to me that she was way thinner post-pregnancy than years later when her body has had the time to "spring back". My friends with kids have had the opposite journey: it took them some time but then they continued to lose weight until they were back to their original weight. And after the postpartum hair fall-out, the hair would return to a fuller, luscious state again with time. Jen's packed it on and continued to lose hair.
Her hormones are completely out of whack. And/or maybe thyroid issues. But don't worry, she had a certified charlatan work on her chakras or something. Everything's healed now!
I never comment on her body because I really don’t give a shit what she looks like but I can’t believe she tries to convince people that she is still a size small. It’s insane.
For the sake of the kids, I hope she gets some real help.

She looks heavier now with more exercise bc she doesn't have to hide her binge eating from anyone. It was much harder with SMD there all the time. That's why she loved her solo Utah trips so much.
I have always said that I think the traveling intensified as a way to avoid running into D**, his family or new wife & kids. She is a creature of habit, and all the local stores and restaurants are shared with all of them. I think she's always on the verge of tears and maybe seeing them, maybe they look great or are happy would be too much for her insecurities.
I think she's attached to inanimate objects and that Utah house was so important to her, and I think she kind of made it a part of her personality - naming the loft, spreading out and labeling her own box of food. Those dates were some of the first to be entered into a new planner. She was so sure that was never going to change, in my opinion overconfident and smug.
She’s never going to be comfortable in her own skin and in her house if she can’t be content to stay put at home. I can’t imagine having memories of just yourself. The scrapbooks don’t count because they’ll probably just be dumped in the trash when she passes.

So in your explanation, “caging” during the married years would be having to hide her binge eating? Definitely plausible!
