Maybe I just haven’t been paying too much attention before, but it looks like the family room has undergone a slight bit of redecorating:
Less pictures on the sofa console table and more books on top of the console table
More books on the shelves of the console table
The table under the window has baskets under it - maybe for toys? (That might not be a change)
It looks like maybe the table in the corner behind the sofa is missing maybe
I don’t know... it just looks a little different to me.. -

Imagine the horror of her having a 1,000 less sq ft or something. Good times.
I always remember early Jen saying having to make decision about which to buy or where how to store things caused her anxiety. Her perfectionism. At the time I had same problem. One reason maybe why I haven’t moved in over 25 yrs. If she still has this problem, I cannot wait to see her move and how long it takes her to unpack. I’ve seen people on Hoarders that fell into a bigger mess after a big life event and a move and never being unable to unpack. Now that would be fun to watch.. -

“Good Morning, Friends. <eye tug> I know I promised everyone a Q & A video today. But you know what they say... <self-deprecating laugh> Life happens. And, boy, is it happening here. The past 2 days have been a rollercoaster of emotions for me. I shared a bit of my personal feelings in my current Ali Edwards’ “Pieces of Me” project. (Swipe up... wait a minute... is it down? <more laughter> <heavy sigh> I don’t know. I can never remember how Instagram works. But swipe for details... ) It’s a wonderful project that Ali Edwards has started for her community, & I’m proud to take part and share with you all. It has taken me waaaaay out of my comfort zone & has forced me to be brutally honest with myself. But that’s good! That’s good. It’s all part of my journey. Anyway... <eye tug> <sigh>... I have not had any time for editing. And, honestly, some of the questions... I mean I want to be authentic & share authentically. And I will... I will. But... <nostril flare>... at the same time, my life is private. My family’s life is private. And I’m just not sure I can share authentically right now. I need to be careful with how I process my thoughts & how I share because I care about each of you. <more nostril flaring> And my beautiful children and my angel Winnie who are my lights right now in the darkness. But the light will come. It will come... just like the light that breaks through the windows each day. Which brings me joy... like little pieces of magic. Besides, I decided this morning that I need to honor myself and my steps through my current journey. And you know what? That’s okay! <slightly manic laughter> And that’s a huge change for me... a monumental shift in my thought processes... because I’ve always felt like I can’t take the time I need because I’ve always devoted all my time to everyone else and the minutiae of the day. But if I’ve learned anything over the past 4 1/2 years, it’s that I can’t be authentically me unless I’m taking the time to choose myself. And, right now, I’m going to have this cup of tea in my new mug. (My affiliate link is below.) Hopefully, I will be at a place where I can share next week and get back to a regular schedule. I couldn’t. Once I saw her starting up & that they’re not smiling or looking happy (as most kids do while dancing), I clicked right out.
Donny staring blankly into the phone camera should be put in his baby book thread, though. But even that shows a cold rigidity; most moms would laugh at the toddler staring into the phone. Not Jen. He had to be redirected to dance. We are dancing now, Donny..
