I personally cannot wait to see Jen trying to date. I'm getting back in the dating-game as a 32-year old and I am here for it. Well, currently not dating right now, for obvious reasons, though.
Can you imagine Jen trying to navigate Tinder or Bumble, or whatever is out there? Everyone who researches everyone online these days? Or going on a speeddate?
What would she even tell about herself? How would she carry normal conversations?. -

She said she's been into Louise Pentland's stuff lately. Louise talked a lot about her dating life as a single mom in her comedy sketches and books. That's probably her inspo and why she thinks it would be hilarious to share.. -

Is the not the woman who put up a video 2 months ago and when asked about dating, said she could not emphatically enough say NO!

Is she in any mental or emotional condition to date? I say NO!
But 2 weeks in the house with the kids appears to be more motivating than all the Glennon Doyle books ever!. -

She’s going to be in for a surprise when she starts dating again. Even in my early 30s I found it very different to my late teens. Less to choose from combined with being more certain about who you will get along with.
I’m guessing it is even harder at 37 because she will be competing with slightly younger women with baby fever.. -

Wow, apparently all it took for Jen to be pumping out almost constant Instagram and Youtube content was for her to experience a worldwide pandemic and be without any adult contact for an extended period of time.
I'm sure other people have said this but Jen is clearly chronically lonely right now. A 4 year-old and a 2 year-old are not adaquate company for weeks and weeks, without going absolutely stark raving batshit crazy. And Jen is crazy at the best of times.
I also have a suspicion that the 'girlfriends!!!' that she suddenly had as a result of divorce sympathy flooding in from the planner community are now suddenly rather preoccupied with their own families and lives. There's also only so long you can continue a friendship which is purely based on divorce sympathy when a divorce like Jen's will likely go on for a year or more, especially in the current circumstances. Those initial women who leaped to be her new BFF have now got bigger fish to fry.
