Notice how, once again, in yesterday's "Coparenting" video- Jen made it sound like it is her choice whether they stay at Don's. I've noticed that when Jen has no choice is something (eg social distancing) she twists the story as if she came to some realization. She can't control all custody arrangements.
Anywhoo- I've been thinking C.C. stands for another thing: C.anary in the C.oalmine. Charlotte is going to see through all their nonsense in a matter of years- if not months.

Kids are so perceptive (especially CC, according to Jen). They will probably grow to have no respect for her, especially when she can’t shut her trap about their father (this morning’s interaction gave a clue where that’s headed). She ignores them to talk to her “dear friends” and only gives them attention for the camera. They’ll start to resent her.
My granddaughters adored their parents for a long time while my husband and I raised them. It was a hard, hard pill to swallow. But as they got older than saw for themselves who they could depend on. Both girls have made it clear who they see as their “real” parents. We never trash-talked their parents. They figured it out for themselves.

I will forever be at watching single mama Jen navigate her new life...but it makes me sad that as parents, they’re giving a child as young as Charlotte conflicting information about something as asinine as Bunsy.
Don, if Charlotte wants her Bunsy, who cares (yes, it’s disgusting, but at the end of the day, who really cares). Jen, if Charlotte wants to leave Bunsy in the bed, who cares. Dont knowingly undermine what the other parent told her to make yourselves feel better. It’s a shitty thing to do.

If they were already good at coparenting, I suspect they wouldn't be in the midst of a divorce.

She can't even let the kid put spinach leaves into the blender on his own. She just had to grab a handful and shove them in there. She doesn't get it that letting kids do things on their own is a very good thing. Not to mention, in this case, a pretty good time killer.

Don might have been a jerk about Bunsy, or he could have been trying to help her let go of her “lovey” for a while with Jen continuing to insist she needs it. After all, what do you expect from a mom who forces a crutch on her children? Maybe Jen thought having “lovies” would keep them from coming to her for comfort.
My oldest granddaughter developed an attachment to her stuffed bunny when she was a baby. As she grew older we helped her slowly learn to leave it in bed during the day. She still has that bunny (she’s grown). I don’t think she sleeps with it anymore.

Does Charlotte take Bunsy to school? If not, then it’s Jen that’s forcing Bunsy onto Charlotte. Just like everyone else, I don’t understand why.
I don’t see the big deal with Don telling Charlotte to leave Bunsy. Charlotte doesn’t see it as a big deal either. The only person upset about this is Jen. She needs to let it go.

I only saw CC say big girls leave bunnies in their bed and I ran here- she seems completely fine with it and I think it’s about time

I love how the kids seem to be in perfectly good moods & Jen was stuffing her face with truffles at 10am. That comment from CC totally broke her. I'm starting to like that kid
I actually saved the clip w/ audio because it's my favourite interaction of theirs ever, hahaha. You can totally hear the dejection in Jen's voice when she realizes that's a phrase Teets learned from Don

I’m starting to think Jen is working overtime to spend Don’s money. No regular chocolate for her. She must console herself with handcrafted overpriced truffles. And a box of 24 at that!
Meanwhile, the kids get Easter baskets filled with junk found during a last-minute Target run.

Makes ya wonder what ever happened to that Powder Room candy? Did it get seasonally stored in the freezer?

QUOTE (BeanBunny @ 4/9/2020, 11:06 AM) I just watched Jessica Braun's Vlogmas videos for something to do during quarantine. It's refreshing to see parents who interact in a loving way with their child and who are teaching her good behavior and manners from an early age. And it definitely shows in her personality and how she interacts with people, as opposed to Jen's lumps of children. I feel that way about Katie Ellison. Her kids are so cute, and she never films them when they are acting like brats, and as a family they do all kinds of fun stuff. Also, her video editing is really really good.

Ive been trying to catch up all day. I saw bunzygate this morning. I am so here for it.
I see Don is rebelling against Jen’s controlling ways. First the beard. Now this. Jen isnt going to make it out of this alive if she doesnt change.
I hated how jen said “here comes the other one”
Eta i wonder what don thought of her crying video. I wonder if he watched it on hooktube. Ha ha
