Let me have my 50th coffee for the day and post more disheveled IG stories as a cry for help."

Jen, I will never believe that C’s hair today was from how wild she is. Nor do I believe you brush it smooth multiple times daily and it gets THAT messed up, unless she is purposely dragging her head & hair on the floor. I have 3 girls so I do know something about their hair. . -

The uncombed hair thing drives me crazy! I’m sure you run a brush through it Jen but do something with it! I worked in child care for a long time.... it’s very difficult for Kids to play and participate when they are constantly trying to move their long hair from their faces. It needs to be put back at least with a head band. It’s too hard for kids her age to have their hair down. They are far too active, it just ends up hindering them. . -

But when CC comes back from Don's overnight, Jen has something to say about brushed hair.

Hey Jen,
If you’re reading this : CC’s hair being tamed doesn’t mean she’s caving to societal pressures or that she can’t be “wild and free”. Get some organic detangler and put it in a cute braid or bun or pig tails or pony tail and stop being such a lazy POS. The more styled it is the less you’ll have to brush it and the less meltdowns CC will have. Mom-ing 101. My niece has wild hair and my sister in law printed off 6 or 7 different hair styles and made them into a little booklet. Each day Ellie picks the style she wants from the book. Jen won’t do that though. It might cut into her morning workout time. The funny part is CC appears to be a lot more girly than Jen - she wears dresses, likes princesses, etc. She would probably LOVE to have hair bows and headbands and fun clips.

Now she’s projecting Glennon onto Charlotte!! Honestly at this point I’d rather her just say “I’m really struggling and finding it hard to brush my own hair much less my daughter’s” than to spew the GD bullshit. Speaking of which, if Charlotte’s hair only looks like that because “she is four” and “runs wild” what is Jen’s excuse?
Also, “societal constrictions inevitably weighing her down” ok Jen this is about basic hygiene and to a certain extent comfort. I can’t imagine having all of that hair in Charlotte’s face is comfortable for her. I know I’d be annoyed if my hair was always in my face.. -

Winnie is a dog that on multiple occasions we saw mush her own face into the couch and she never looked as unkempt as CC does.
