I was watching an old MyHousewifeLife video this morning from 2013 when Grace was born. Jen and Don are on their way to the hospital to see the new baby and Jen remarks that she thinks they ended up naming Grace but she's only 99% sure. Don then says he's pretty sure it is Grace, because his brother-in-law Dave referred to the baby by that name on the family Skype call. Jen then says that Suzanne also referred to the baby as Grace in her email to the family, but that she doesn't want to confirm anything unless she hears it come straight from Emily's mouth.
I don't know why, but I just found that so funny that she has all these people confirming the baby's name is Grace, but for some weird reason she's afraid to call the baby that on camera for fear she's wrong. Also, Suzanne sending out an email to the family to announce Grace's birth made me think of Jen's email to the family about her going vegan. Which in turn made me wonder if email is the Ross family's preferred form of communication for major life events. I'd love to know if an email was sent announcing Jen and Don's divorce or how that information was spread among the family.

One part of my husbands family sends those “family newsletter” emails and one in particular (who is in her 20s) actually sends a printed copy via mail too. I don’t get it. Isn’t everyone on SM these days anyways?

She clearly needs to be the center of attention always. (But I’m not telling you anything you didn’t already know.)
As I was trying to watch one of her videos it occurred to me that besides her need for attention, her constant whining about first-world/1%er problems (free gold coil), her constant flexing while pretending to be one of the regulars...she drones on and on about nothing. Who would want to be friends with someone like that? That’s why her “friends” swoop in, collect their gift baskets and new social media followers, and get out ASAP.

Not grilled anything, that was Don's domain.
It was....poached chicken breast in wine. Suzanne taught it to her, and she used that recipe many times to make it BY HERSELF YOU GUYS. Much, much later (just before the crying milk video) she made a video where she talks about how Suzanne taught her to to make tender shrimp using a sheet pan, lemon and butter. But that was it. I think she actually became plant based because it was just too hard to learn to cook other meats.
I remember the chicken breast meal. In Utah, alone. Had to call Don back home in Chicago to help her. Geez.

Serves her right if she is having a hard time packing and moving. She’s the one that filled the house with her hoard. She has to decide what she wants to keep or throw depending on how big her next house will be. It will be definitely smaller than this one. She won’t have an Amazon size basement or a dedicated Craptice, most likely.

Did not see this one back in the day. She really has been getting ripped a new one over the years. But honestly, a lot of those comments were spot on. I enjoyed those more than the video. I mean, in a nutshell, if she would put down planners, pens and paper, she’d have time for a real life! And one commenter really nailed her for an even earlier vlog where she talked in the SAME vlog of taking 3 baths in 1 day, but had been so BUSY that day! Does she not “proofread “ herself for idiocy before hitting publish...never mind, of course she doesn’t. This is Jen.
