He always walks far ahead of everybody. Kind of like an arrogant asshole strut. I can picture him pacing and carrying on about not being able to do the flight test when he wants. Like a toddler who was told no to candy. . -

It's so weird. My husband is a fast-walker, so sometimes going into a store or something, he might be ahead of us. But on a family outing walking around, or on a walk with the kids and dogs, he is always with us, or with me. It does look like he is quite disinterested.
Unless Landyn dropped behind to get a picture of him. Which is kind of backfiring on her. It makes things look like what I described. For all we know, maybe he does walk with her until she sneaks back to take a pic. Or he does walk ahead, and she puts the pic out there, and many of us are thinking, hmmm. MY husband doesn't do that. Not smart.. -

Right, this picture makes it look like he isn’t interested in spending time with her at all. She’s really not self aware of what she posts and the image it gives off.
The only time your significant other should be that far ahead is if you are rushing for a flight or to get into a store before it closes!!. -

It’s a stressful event for sure though, and he has to continue to pay for flight hours so that he stays current and proficient at his skills.
I rolled my eyes at her begging for a DPE on her Instagram the other day though. For one thing, there aren’t that many of them! Also, the local DPEs are usually known to the local instructors and people tend to know their most-asked questions and exam routines. Using an unknown/unfamiliar examiner adds even more stress.
The freaking airlines don’t even have enough instructors/examiners right now because everyone is on summer vacation, especially now in post-covid times. Add that to shitty weather and poor ol’ Steve is probably just gonna have to wait..
