Because this is Jen, I’m going to go out on a limb here and say the kids and Winnie in the stroller are about her burning more calories by pushing them. Gotta work off those vegan pumpkin bars somehow.

QUOTE (AirportHashBrown @ 1/11/2021, 07:08) Montessori: make small kids independent through play-learning ASAP Jen: *enrolls her kids ASAP in Montessori* Also Jen: straps the perfectly able and more than old enough kids in The Chariot
Jen-logics! She always picks whatever option is easiest for her. Soup Kitchen because ciao bambini, get out of the house! But XL stroller because in what world would she bother doing the handholding thing (too much work, would rather strap in and push #freearmworkout). She could've had Charlotte walking by her side, perhaps learning to walk with Winnie on the leash, and bring a simple stroller for Dawny. It would've been a great teaching experience and bonding moment between mother and daughter. But no, The Chariot. I guess The Red Wagon was not available? This, a thousand times this!

Jen is a bad mother. Barely going through the motions providing the minimum. When she is tasked with caring for them she speeds through it to quickly put them to bed or pawn them off on somebody else. She has no maternal instincts, is cold and put off.
A cautionary tale that just because you can have children doesn't mean you should.

A cautionary tale that just because you can have children doesn't mean you should. I have no doubt she’d have faced social pressures to have children. That’s so common. Especially with Emily already having them. But it was entirely within her power to grow a spine and say I’m not having any. Bringing a child into a relationship where one person clearly doesn’t want them makes three people unhappy.

The kids know what works best for Jen and so that’s what works best for them.
I wish I could remember the video she said that in. It was probably in Dec last year.

I think the problem is that Jen lacks the self awareness to recognise pre-children that she would not enjoy the realities of having them.
I think she assumed she’d enjoy being a mum because that’s the narrative that’s in the world, she seemed to enjoy spending time with her nieces but hadn’t really realised what motherhood would truly be like.
Also compounding her lack of insight and self awareness was it coincided with Don’s surgery and return to work. She thought she’d have it easier than she did (and in no way am I saying she had it hard!). It was always a recipe for disaster.

Good morning, Friends! I'm excited for today. I predict an Instagram scolding over Stroller-Gate. You know she got raked over the coals for that one.
Come on, Jen. You know you are SEETHING!!!

She had to realize after Charlotte that she hated it, though, and she still chose to have another one. All while, if you believe her narrative (I don't), she was thinking about divorcing Don.

QUOTE (Sebs @ 1/11/2021, 13:31) Thank you! I was out of town all weekend and tried to catch up on the posts last night but sadly missed her restaurant/ waiter / server rant. Was hoping someone saved the original video. So, thank you again!
As someone mentioned previously, why is she even worried about what she’s ordered? She needs to get out of her own head and enjoy her travels instead of worrying about what others think.
Or better yet, plan your hikes a bit better to provide for the nutrition when needed and not as a way to catch up. If she’s only eating one meal a day and expending “thousands of calories”, she needs to constantly hydrate, replace her electrolytes and feed her body to prevent potential injuries and passing out from lack of nutrients.

I just noticed that Bunsie is sitting with CC. She couldn’t leave the house without it for a short stroll around the neighborhood?!
Jen, they aren’t babies anymore.
This is all about Jen’s comfort. Maybe that’s how she got her to sit in the stroller? Bunsie wants to come with us.
Remember when CC left Bunsie upstairs and Jen had to remind her to get it? And CC said something about being a big girl (I’m vague on the details).
I bet CC doesn’t even want Bunsie at daddy’s house. Why would she need it? She would probably be so distracted playing and having fun with the other kids.
