In this scenario, CC is kinda screwed. I hope her stepmom will have some influence because Jen sucks at telling the truth, and Don is a conservative libertarian, which is a disaster.

It’s like she has absolutely no idea how to be a parent.
Peloton has family friendly exercise classes. I just did a Disney dance/HIIT workout there. Kids participation was encouraged. She could have gotten her blue Peloton workout dot, engaged her kids in a fun way, and thrown Disney muffins to the bakery all in one 20 minute class.  Poor kids.

She keeps showing how messed up she is and she doesn’t even realise it. She thinks setting her alarm for 4am (on a Saturday, no less!) when she has nowhere to go and nothing to do, except to manically exercise and eat her feelings, makes her superior. In reality it just confirms how lost and screwed up she is.
For starters, sleep would do wanders for her mental health. Waking up at a normal time and exercising like a normal person would also help her hugely. But, Jen knows best.  Keep screwing up your life, Big Bertha!

Her excuse for getting Dat Ass out of bed at 4 am will be I need to work out before the children wake up, so I can spend every moment with them, after they awaken.
So she slept thru her alarm, what time did she get up and go to her basement room? Did she force the kids to get up and come with her, because she can't leave them alone, unless they are asleep, while she does whatever it is she does now for exercise?
Saturday and Sunday are for sleeping late, then cartoons and cereal with real cows milk. Except she has no clue. She will have them on Thanksgiving! I wonder if they will have tofurkey and kale?

As for her Insta post, she has those kids for a precious little time. You'd think she would skip her cherished exercise when they are awake and do it while they nap or later in the evening. But no.Jen is always first on Jen's list.
I don't like the way Scary Mommy worded it, but I agree that it's ridiculous that there's such a difference between males and females having sex for the first time.
And looking at it from a patriarchal/religious/historical point of view, a girl's virginity was something that men in the family owned and protected because a virginal girl had value when it came to marriage and family "honor."

I think she took the opportunity to video them in the room with her to make it look like she can do it all and it somehow makes her super special.
We know she doesn’t need to watch them 24/7 because they used to play in the basement, unsupervised, during the Instagram lives she used to do during lockdown.
