Did you guys catch Kinsley taking a shit in the cottage behind Macenna as she yammered on about her ugly thrifted ~vessel~? If there's one thing I like even less than Macenna, it's that yappy ass dog. But even so, it's not Kinsley's fault that her mom was sooo lazy about training her. Between pooping in the house (which has been caught on camera twice now so probably a daily occurence) and the constant, ear-shattering barking... woo boy. Did you even TRY, Macenna? -
.I won't watch her nonsense anymore. Romeo is a slob with a plebeian upbringing. Who wears socks with sandals? And logos in Paris? How typically American. She is pretentious and condescending with grandma taste and nightmarish outfits which, it seems, hasn't evolved in the time I unsubscribed. It is just as bad with Drew who was in Sweden and his new partnership with Desenio cheap art prints. They would both sell their souls for money.
Socks with sandals are very popular with Gen Z. Romeo upsells "vintage" clothing for this very generation so he is probably easily influenced by their style and tries to appeal to them so they'll stop by his booth and buy his overpriced finds. -
.Funny thing noticed that several YT accounts are all going to Paris Sept/Oct must be the YT management! At least 3 other channels are scheduled to for trips seems a little fishy that several are taking families on the trip, we own a house in the UK and spend the summers there so I understand the draw to France and Europe in general.
Just seems a bit strange that these YT channels are all taking trips in this current environment of flights being cancelled (had 2 of ours cancelled back to the US in the same week) people are being stranded at airports waiting on flights out. Flights are not cheap and neither are the hotels and air B&B's are almost double the cost YT must be getting discount rates to be sending these YT creators Europe.
Why is it strange? It's still summer for a lot of these people and they're basically taking their summer vacation. Y'all are nuts if you think YT is bankrolling personal vacations.
Also, imo, the reason Romeo isn't on the channel as much isn't racism (wtf??) but because he has clearly gotten a job. He's rarely home. They need both the incomes now that they own a house in LA and Macenna has abandoned the project that actually brought her good view$ -

Why does she mention "making thumbnails" as a work task so often when her thumbnails are always one of the screengrabs YT picks automatically after uploading a video?? Maybe one in every 20 videos has some text or whatever on it which would take all of 2 minutes for a content creator to make on Canva. Also, I wish I could count laundry as one of my work tasks lol. It takes Becky a week of "workdays" to fold laundry meanwhile everyone else manages to do theirs in addition to full time jobs. -
.According to Linda, she was "Director of Admissions" for I think Oklahoma State University (if I have that correct), which is not an insignificant position and would require that she have a graduate degree, so I think she is well educated. This is what makes the incorrect pronunciations so baffling to me and every time she reminds us that she NEVER watches tv, especially not during the day, I want to toss my computer. Pretty rich coming from someone who makes their living on YouTube. Also, some people mentioned Sydney's Native American heritage as being insignificant, however in one of Linda's home tour videos (I love the garden in Sydney's old house, so have watched that video a few times to get ideas), she mentions that all four of her grandparents are of Native American decent, so I think it is a significant percentage. She is allowed to decorate her house however she likes, but I do find the style to be a bit...intense...particularly that wallpaper in her bar room, which somehow manages to be simultaneously amazing and horrifying.
The hair on the other hand, has annoyed me from day one. I mean, I get it, it's a graduated bob, sort of, but I doubt she goes to a high end salon (just doesn't seem like something she would spend money on), so it's probably a Hair Cuttery job done by someone who graduated from beauty school 15 minutes and never the same person twice. The long side pieces make her look like a deranged Cocker Spaniel and I don't know how she can stand that plus the too-long bangs against her face in the awful Oklahoma heat. When I'm gardening in any season, my hair is tied back so it doesn't annoy me.
I think Sydney said her grandparents have a percentage of Native American in them so it's probably very small (just like every white person who claims to have NA heritage). It'd be one thing if it was a piece of art here and there but it's like her entire house which is bizarre. -
.Lol I guess she reads here because in her newest vlog she’s got a bunch of new clothes that she was putting up (tags still on). I agree, I don’t think she’s a 14, but she’s definitely not a 6 (anymore). I think she’s bottom heavy as well, which isn’t a bad thing at all. But if you don’t wear clothes for your body type & size then you’ll never look good. My gripe with the new clothes is that everything is white, beige or black. White washes her out so much. I am still so surprised that she has a fashion degree because she seems like she’s got a decent eye for color so you’d think she would know how to pair colors to look good for her skin tone.
I agree she looks awful in the neutrals she seems to favor. She sometimes wears a bright yellow sweater which makes her glow because she's a Spring. The beiges drain all the life from her face. -

She's definitely not a size 6 but I don't think she's a 14. She's probably closer to a 10. Regardless, she'd look about five sizes smaller if she wore the correct one. Squeezing into a size 6 is making her LOOK like a 14. For someone who worked in fashion, you think she'd have better style or at least a better understanding of what is/isn't flattering. I'm not sure I've ever seen her wear an outfit where I thought "wow", it's always like "oh. ugh." -
.Well it kinda is hard to believe when she claims she spent 170,000+ on the TX house leaving her 40,000 in savings but put in 150,000 of remodel that would leave her 110,000 in debt (no, the TX house is not worth 900,000 the most she could sell it for is maybe in high 300,000 just because you think it is worth almost a million most of the time it isn't)A year latter she buys a 2.1 million house that would require a 20% down payment of 400,000+ as there are little to no down payment assistance for jumbo loans over 500,000. So did the 400,000 magically appear or did she have a million saved? Pretty sure the loan she got is a high risk no income verification loan borrowing the 20% down payment making 2 mortgages on the loan, the down payment loan and the 1st lien mortgage loan. Being a good saver has nothing to do with the numbers anyone with maths skills can certainly see the money is simply not there. IMO she is mortgaged to hilt and saddling herself with a massive amount of debt trying to cover it via youtube views and sponsor ships without any other viable income is not a smart thing to do as those things can end at the drop of a hat. Don't think Romeo makes enough at his weekend flea sales to cover all those bills. Even if she made 35,000 for Xmas blogs that would barley make 2 house notes, car and other bills. Her parents think their home (been on the market for years) is worth multi millions but in reality it is over priced and never sold, it all depends on what some one is willing to over pay for property.
Like I've said before, I'm betting she makes a buttload from her YouTube channels Adsense, podcast income and probably the most from sponsorships. It's not like she had no income when she bought the TX house. She was getting hundreds of thousands of views on both her original channel and her vlog channel plus sponsorships. I'm guessing she makes a lot more than $35K for Vlogmas.
Could her parents have helped out or she received some sort of inheritance? Sure. I just think she makes a LOT more money than some people are assuming.
Honestly she probably made $35k per ad during Vlogmas. Don't forget she also has a podcast now that is rife with sponsorships. You can't get more than 5 min into a story without an ad break. The girl is bringing in serious coin. -
.I can't say I've ever noticed her pants. I looked today. Boxy trousers, boxy sweatshirt. Neither very flattering but unremarkable. It's what the kids wear these days lol. Git off ma lawn. She always looks kinda normal to me not ED skinny like some. Maybe early pregnant if anything. I do tap tap quickly through her videos though as she waffles on too much.
Her room was nice, unremarkable again. A bit bland and granny for my taste however I do like vintage stuff. Too much beige and brown in hers. That room would be better with some improved lighting installed not just a few lamps. Get an electrician in and sort it, add decent light to the stairs if she's making a feature of the gallery etc. It needs plants. Something green and real, again lights could help if it's really so dark.
She did seem to do the moulding but we never saw her do the actual cuts? That's the hard bit. I feel if she did the cuts she would absolutely video every second of it. That's what makes me think she has help.
Wow, I can't believe you've never noticed her pants. The worst is the pair of jeans with the asymmetrical zipper. You can see her camel toe on full display and the zipper could pop off into Romeo's eye at any moment. She only has like three pairs of pants and none of them fit. She's clearly very insecure about her body and in denial about her actual size so I feel for her but wearing your actual size, even if bigger, will make you appear slimmer than stuffing your body into a too-small size. -

.I don't believe how much these YouTubers say they make. I know 2 personally- one in Atlanta and one here in Key West - and neither is making the amount for the numerous posts and subscribers they have that you would think they should (both are over 100K subscribers).
I don't insult- I give practical advice. Take it or leave it but please educate yourself and read previous posts BEFORE you ask questions.

I'm cry LOLing reading the essay length conspiracy theories. Giving QAnon a run for their money... Influencers make an absurd amount of money on sponsorships alone, they don't need YT to foot the bill for their homes. Macenna was racking up insane views during the beginning of the TX house and was posting multiple times per week. She probably paid for that Range Rover with cash tbh. Drew was sponsored by YT for that whole house makeover but it was on YT's channel, not his. Perhaps this led to the confusion that spiraled into Kellie's beliefs. -

YT recently changed their username structure. So unless you go into your profile and claim yours as a unique username, it's just going to add random numbers after whatever you have now. You'll also notice in the comment section, it's added @ in front of everyone's name. The people without numbers have claimed their usernames. It's kinda like how Discord used to assign 4 random numbers after your name but ironically enough, Discord also just changed their username thing so you can pick your own username and not have numbers after it haha.
That's interesting! Is there anywhere we'd be able to see what it looks like to others? So far I see my handle as I chose it originally, but I'm not sure if I did something at some point to claim it. Very odd choice to implement, YT.. lol

I'm not sure! I got an email when I was eligible to change my username haha. I just checked and it's actually called YouTube Handles. You should be able to customize yours at www.youtube.com/handle. I've noticed that my comments now show up under the handle I chose but when I'm like logging in, it still shows as my username or name I chose. Kinda confusing! -
