A lot of the small, boutique, shops - in the USA have a five to seven day return period and then you get a store credit, not a refund. Online shops are going to 14 days, and they do look at the date your package was delivered. And a few of them offer store credit only - or exchange of course (size or color etc)
Some of the larger retailers track your returns and will stop taking returns from you if you return what they consider to be too much. Neiman Marcus is one of them. I think SAKS was going to do it too but do not know if they did.
Many have a FINAL SALE policy once things go into markdown pricing. J Crew, Ann Taylor, Taylor LOFT are some that come to mind, but I know there are many others.. -
