I just disagree with the point that Jen needs to think of her pro-life viewers. Why? Why is someone obligated to make it thought-provoking? I don’t really look to online lifestyle creators for thought-provoking things or nuanced and well-researched takes on current events for the most part. People can post whatever they want and if they want to potentially alienate part of their audience, they can make that choice.

    Making me defend Jen, gross.

Lol please we don't want you to defend her...ever! My point is that when you are a public figure people from all walks of life watch you. Some of them, no doubt are old Christian grannies with strong convictions on the subject (well maybe they don't watch IG). But it s never a good business position to go deeply one side without considering others have a differing opinion and may take offense to Jen not being in their corner. Some maybe even shocked. That said if she loses subs over it, that's a great move Jen, keep at it and tell us more!
I just never felt comfortable when dimwits like Jen provide their 2 cents on hot topics. Nobody cares, that is not what you re here for.

Jen’s “business” consists of her using the camera as a friend. It’s all about that for her and always has been. And if you’re a public figure, you can also use that position to take a stand (not that Jen is really going to do that in a useful way). And yes, many people provide their two cents who probably shouldn’t. But in this case, I don’t see the issue.

If I were a content creator, especially one where the “brand” was me, I wouldn’t feel obligated to think about whether my viewers shared my beliefs. They can choose to watch or not. I don’t agree with the beliefs of all the creators I follow—in fact, sometimes I find it interesting to see the perspectives of people who think and believe differently than I do. Jen’s sincerity is always in question, but I don’t believe that content creators have a duty to censor their beliefs for the sake of their audience.

I would tend to agree if this was a creator who has established themselves as thinkers and whose opinion I value. I don't watch Jen for her opinions, definitely not for her guidance. There are plenty creators out there who can take on the subject but make it thought provoking for both side. She just drops her obligatory "I am appalled" string of stories when in fact we all know she 1. Could not care less 2. Is not affected 3. Does not even know what she's talking about.
It's alienating for both sides to have this twat take a half stand for the sake of taking a stand like other people she follows because she feels it makes her human and or relatable. There is nothing genuine about this. Absolutely no one WONDERS what her opinion is on this subject and is on pins and needles for her reaction.
Like another baker mentioned. She needs to stay in her lane. Faux woke Jen is the absolute worse jen.

She had an entire binder of how she selected and laid out furniture, room by room. Why wasn’t that ever OLJ content?

Also why didn’t she refer back to the binder to get some ideas on how to set up RM2??

Is it just pages ripped out of the PB catalog, since that’s what she copied?

This is exactly what I hate about these content creators they just assume everybody thinks like them. She has no clue some of her viewers are pro life and would be offended by her stance. She is not smart enough to articulate her opinions is a way that leaves food for thoughts she just slams everyone with her beliefs and fuck off if you think otherwise.
    Unsufferable.

And if you are that committed and pissed Jen, take to the streets at the next Chicago protest and film that!

Based on her monthly spending and how much money Don has it's likely that it's around $20k a month. Plus Don had investments, all of which Jen gets half of. She needs to be careful though... alimony doesn't last forever and child support only until the kids are of a certain age.

I get the sense the only part of her settlement she’s touched is her share of the house. Like how she bought such crappy furniture and still hasn’t furnished that house fully yet.

I was never a Jenion, either. She seemed to share the tastes of my middle-aged mom while also contributing nothing worthwhile to society. More of a fascination with how weird she was than anything else.

Any financial whizzes in the house? How much do we think Jen could have made off her channel during her peak era? I imagine if Patreon had been around back then she could have had at least 5000 subscribers. $25,000 a month!!

She still has that potential, but is too consumed by fear and Insecurity to grow her brand right now. She had so many ideas back in the good old days. She overflowed with ideas and passion for her channels. I’ve said it before, I believe she really did care about her viewers at some point. She tried to offer ideas for gifts, recommended clothing, real product reviews, etc. that’s why she shared her cervical mucus story. She was trying to help other women learn about their bodies and helping them conceive. I admired her for that. She seemed to genuinely want to share her knowledge with the world. That’s admirable.

YouTube revenue varies hugely from channel to channel and even video to video. Tech reviews, for instance, will attract high-paying advertisers. So it’s very hard to have an estimate.

I don’t think she ever *cared*, though. She was bored and needed a magic mirror to talk to “friends” through, without them being able to respond. She shared her cervical mucus because she’s a nut.

Speaking of wealth, do you think Tensleigh would have married Don if he wasn't rich? (Sorry if this has been discussed before)

I don’t think either Jen or Tens would have. I don’t think either of them are traditional gold diggers but were willing, for different reasons, to overlook plenty for what all that money could provide.

Jen was a teenager and loved that Don had his own condo in college and going to fancy meals instead of keggers. The extravagant doting and security that his money allowed fit perfectly with her childish, fragile persona especially when she clearly hadn’t found a place to fit in in college.

Tens was a full grown adult and saw the opportunity to move from struggling to a mansion with a pool and a vacation home. She was well aware of what kind of future those Ross dollars could provide her and her family. Don is an overweight blowhard with a weird, invasive family, an usavory business history, a crazy ex, and a foot fetish. Would she have taken that on if it came with a middle manager’s salary and a mortgaged three bedroom rancher? Nope, not Tens. But she did the best she could. She tried to give Don a glow up and easily had the Rosses eating out of her hand with her doting, cool girl vibes

I know he bought Jen Jimmy Choos once, presumably because he was tired of being reminded of his mother every time he saw her sensible shoes. But I can’t see anyone marrying those bunions if they had a real foot fetish, unless it’s specifically a bunion fetish. 😬

I have no idea how much she paid for her model. Its usually pricey. www.jackery.com/products/jackery-e...lar-generator##

Not in the purge pile but maybe its just the empty box but knowing how wasteful Jen is, it might have the jackery inside.

Emily had a made up job with the Ravens and quit that when she had kids. She’s still a dork and now is experiencing the glow up from being close to a popular girl. I think Don’s wife is kind to her and genuinely likes her. I just have never seen evidence of Emily being anything but a dork with a Tim Allen autograph kit and a husband most known for his fondness of tracking the weather.

This Patreon idea was about as well thought out as that stupid domain name she forked $5k out for when she changed her name to stupid With Wonder

She’s still getting the equivalent of the median salary in the US for it.

These "to do" lists are hysterical.

She had to write down to walk and feed her dog to check it off and feel like she accomplished something

Sounds a lot like PlanWithLaken, who likes getting her checkmarks for routine tasks.

Laken’s moving to Chicago. Let’s see if that friendship gets rekindled. 👀
