I've told this story before, but I got into Jen because a good friend of mine had a sister who lived in the same neighborhood as RM1. She used to see Jen walking Winnie and said she was really tiny, like ED-style tiny. This was before any of her YT channels started, but then once she started posting, several of the women in the neighborhood would watch and discuss it. Somewhere along the line, she told her sister/my friend and we started watching, too.
I make no claims to be any kind of insider or have any personal knowledge of her, but that's my Jen origin story! -

I truly do not understand the, "I love you so much" narrative that comes from Jen and, in fairness, many other YouTubers. I get that you love having subscribers and you love the positive feedback, but telling people you love them is so disingenuous and self serving in this context. And you know there are people who feel like these people they see on their screens really do love them. What a strange world. -

I just finally finished the Montana video. Every last one of these videos is exactly the same. I'm pretty much watching now so I can laugh at her for filming yet another glorious bathtub that she can take full advantage of. What a sad, lonely life she lives.
I also want to add that I have recently gone through a divorce that somewhat closely aligned with the timeframe of Jen and Don's divorce. I cannot even imagine still having as much emotional chow chow about it. Even if you weren't the person who initiated it (I was, I believe Jen was not), it's been long enough that it should not still be your defining personality trait! -

I'm about 10 pages behind, but I just had to jump here to comment on the Amish romance discussion. I live in Lancaster County, PA, which is the very heart of Amish country. These are people who shower once a week, wear wool clothing, and let's just say that they don't waste a lot of their money on deodorant. You do not want to get within 10 feet of them in the summertime.
The very concept of Amish romances is completely hysterical to me.

Honest to god, if I never hear the words "oat milk" come out of her mouth again, it will be too soon. Why does she talk about milk so much? There are dairy farmers that don't talk about milk as much as she does. -

Jen, when you point a finger at anyone here for body shaming, remember that there are 4 fingers pointing back at you. We watched for years while you talked about Don's HUGE clothes and MAMMOTH portions. You body shamed him for the entire internet to see. I don't tend to get into a lot of discussion about your body here, because my size and fitness level are things I struggle with and have for years. But we can all see the hypocrisy of you getting so indignant about being body shamed yourself when you did it so blatantly to someone else for years. So, please....TAKE A FUCKING SEAT. -

Like someone said, this is a serious disease and no amount of joking and being “witty” is going to make it go away. Making light of it and pretending everything is fine will not make it fine. (If this is her coping mechanism or reaction to not be “caged”, it’s ridiculous). It takes one turn for the worse for someone in her family or herself to make her understand that it is no joking matter.
But even then, will she act like she has a really authentic caring bone in her body?
Most likely not.
She would not give a shit if her kids had died of COVID. She'd milk it for attention and sympathy and consider herself rid of a problem. Free.
This is a step too far for me. I think she is happier when the kids are with Don, but I don't think she wishes they were dead.
