Tyler's collection of 5 million different things to track the places he's visited. The colouring books :hearty-laugh:

They will be treasured items for generations to come. :snickering:

Why do they think that future generations would want to be saddled with their coloring books marking where they traveled? I have that 1,000 Places to See Before You Die book. I do not expect my kids to carry that around long after I'm gone.

She's not dumb. English isn't her first language. But she doesn't have a good attention to detail and that shows. I had to roll my eyes at her story about working long hours so she can have free time for her kids. What exactly does she think the rest of us do?

I think they are desperate for money and this was a quick way to make some. How far they have fallen. And to think that they ruined this all on their own.

Why does she need so much toothpaste? I hope she meant it was for the both.

Her anxiety about losing luggage really showed with this. She brought a ton of extra stuff "just in case". I've lost luggage in Europe before and I just bought what I needed at that time. It seems like a waste to bring extra stuff on the off chance that something will happen.

I kind of get it though. My kids are autistic and I know major flight delays or lost luggage would be really upsetting to them, so I always pack a lot of snacks and some comfort items in our carry on bags. Every time I pack, I always question my sanity on this. :D But the times we have had flight delays, I have always been glad that I overpacked the snacks. I don't have to worry about standing in long lines at the airport stores for things. I just open our bags. And when we have gone out of the country, I always pack a small first aid kit with things like bandaids and over the counter meds. Yes I can get them at our destination, but I like having the peace of mind. So I get where her thinking is on some of this.

What I don't understand is buying new luggage, carryon bags and toiletry bags for every trip. She made a comment about a buying frenzy prior to the trip. To me, that sounds like a mixture of anxiety and just wasteful spending as usual.

Ok I stand corrected about Paris. I should have given her more credit. :snickering:

I'm not going to blame her for tears. I'm going to be honest. I cried when I heard what happened to the babies at the day care center in Israel. It's horrific. Those poor children. It's devastating news.

My first thought was Disneyland Paris. Remember this is an organized Adventures by Disney trip. They may have diverted the trip to Paris or one of their other Europe itineraries.

Spending Don's money without having to be intimate with him was when she was her happiest. She loved the Don dollars and the attention that he gave, just as long as there was no sex at the end of that.

Oh that is so sad to hear. I hate when an animal suffers. It must feel so helpless to have to watch a beloved pet sick and there is nothing you can do to help them.

This is one time when they should be shaken to tears. Some of the images I have seen are horrific enough that it brought me close to tears. I saw a video of a father crying uncontrollably as he talked about his daughter being kidnapped. It choked me up, especially when you see the footage of the kidnapping. I'm not going to question that they are afraid and want to get home. This is one time where she isn't overreacting.

Of course it is. But she’ll throw it in with a thrive market ad halfway through.

I shouldn't laugh because the events from this weekend are not funny, but this comment cracked me up. :hearty-laugh:

How absolutely sad they can't take him to a 24hr vet to see if something is seriously wrong. Something like not eating or being able to walk should be looked at ASAP, not when it's convenient for them (waiting until Monday to see the regular vet). That they would rather keep him in a confused state for the where he isn't able to walk to go out to relieve himself speaks volumes about who they are as pet owners. And it isn't good.

    I'm pretty disgusted.

That's what I am wondering. Surely there is an emergency vet within driving distance? Why are they waiting. It appears that they take good care of their dogs and love them. I'm kind of shocked and pissed that they aren't taking Bubbas in asap. Poor Bubbas.

Cue Jessica’s dramatic video of lots of crying of how scary it was and how “heartbreaking” it is for those affected and how scary it was being away from their kids, then announcing some other kid free trip.

The two Israeli tourists and guide were in Alexandria, Egypt. Members from my church are currently on a cruise that was supposed to visit Israel and Egypt. Both ports have been cancelled. Disney is probably cancelling the remainder of the trip and I think that is 100% the right choice. That entire region has become very unstable right now. So I'm glad to hear that they are coming home.

And before anyone says you see, they should have never taken this chance, I'd like to remind you of all of the mass shootings that happen in our own country. I don't question anyone who made a choice to go to Israel or Egypt prior to this weekend. But right now is not the time to be there. It's horrible to hear some of the stories coming out of Israel. My heart goes out to anyone who has family or friends in harms way right now.

I don't know. P is little and sounds like she LOVES her Pa cousins. She already said goodbye to her grandpa. It will be really sad for her. I think it's ok he took her to Pa.

I might agree with this if Tone ever showed that he did anything to offer any type of emotional support. He never seemed to be with her when she was at her parents house. He doesn't seem to help with the kids at all. To me, it seems like he used this as a convenient way to escape having to do anything to support her at her father's service. If you are a partner to someone, the last thing you should do is not be there for them at their father's funeral.
