| Since you're referring to the issue I brought up, the 'testiness' is about the fact that someone obviously went to a lot of effort to create the link tree, but it looks like they left off anyone who isn't a regular. I'd posted in the thread, I'd also messaged a few people. I used to think some people were unnecessarily salty on here but I'm catching that end of the wedge now and get it.
You would prefer this to be a closed group and are desperate not to get the old GG rep, but the niceness is all surface level and it's still a swirling mess of egos and cliques underneath, from my experience.

No, it is not a normal American saying. People who are into self help & pop psychology seem to use it a lot. I think it's gotten more popular relatively recently because of Sheryl Sandberg's (a Facebook executive) book; it's not something Jen would have read though. |
