Here’s my latest thinking:

The kids are going to want to go live in The New House With Their New Family soon (within the year). Jen needs the child support to live. I think she negotiates Don “buying them” so she can head out in the van for long stretches at a time. I think she keeps RM2 for home base for the 6 times a year she sees the kids, to edit all her “amazing new content” and to use the claundry to wash her gear.

ETA: she’ll say Don poisoned their minds against her.

Another snooze fest food prep and fridge tour. I think Darlene constantly reverts to this content because she believes there’s less we can snark on her about. Of course she pointed out several times what was being delivered to Mom.

Darlene pointed out the weather is really nice so they’ll be eating lots of salad this week. With what ingredients or does she have that stored in another fridge? Her produce drawer had mushrooms, 3 baking potatoes and a couple of peppers. How is she making salads with that?

Strange how we (the viewers) were the ones who misunderstood Darlene and that it’s her Mom that doesn’t want to be babied because she’s a strong, independent woman. Darlene would happily cook for Mom every day if she would let her.

That’s 100% not what she said last week. Darlene was pretty clear SHE told her Mom she had to get back to cooking her own meals as it was getting to be too complicated (too much work?) and Darlene needed to focus on what works for her family. Pretty much that Darlene was over it and would stop sending food.

Also funny how they’re terrified to go in a grocery store but Steven has no issue making multiple trips to the Dollar Store, hardware store, drive thrus, donut store, etc.

Her Instastories of the kids playing in the yard on the slide were awful - baby voice in full effect (with CC screeching and Donny mumbling unintelligibly in the background), phony enthusiasm for kids playing, etc.

I think whatever is going on with Jen is more mental health-related, more specifically to food/eating/exercising.
Alcohol has too many calories, and portion police calorie counting Jen wouldn't want to consume excess calories if she could help it.
I agree with those that have speculated about the plant-based journey pushing Jen (and Don) over the edge and that her not wanting to get help was the last straw. My guess is that Judith may have been the one to terminate therapy, referring Jen to someone else or acknowledging that Jen needed more intensive services than she could provide, perhaps in concert with Don or The Fam at some sort of intervention.
Toddler Jen threw a tantrum and refused, and Don moved out. I think it was a long time coming, possibly even throughout the childless years of their marriage. Having children exacerbated Jen's issues rather than helped them, and Don just couldn't take it anymore.

I just watched this one from Organizedlikejen channel. She was so pretty here. Happy. Like the peak of making it on Youtube. I think this was either right before or just after the Christmas card exchange scandal LOL. I totally wanted that Filofax.

I’m not disinfecting groceries. The small chance that you might get sick from handling packages isn’t worth having nasty chemicals seeping into my food. Chances are if your going to get sick from otter packaging on a grocery item your already sick anyway.

I’d have to bitch slap myself if I ever engaged in that kind of behaviour. I’m very much a get the fuck on with it type. I have little patience for the Jens of the world.
