Lurker turned poster. I have known several women flee with their children from abusive spouses, not knowing where they were going to live let alone where their next meal was coming from, praying they don’t end up dead. Many families are living paycheck to paycheck while working multiple jobs to put food on their tables and keep a roof over their heads. Then there is this chick, choosing “me.” She hasn’t had to work for a damn thing, frivolously spent her (soon to ex) husbands money and stays at home while her kids are shipped off to a soup kitchen. A “single mom” that still sits on her ass, living off of other people, but needs to choose “me.” Gtfoh chick. . -

I really think she’s not happy, and the whole “chose myself” thing is her trying to convince herself that her husband didn’t just leave her.
Don is a typical well off white male who’s never wanted for anything. He’s arrogant and has an unrealistic view of the world outside his rich little family. But I do think he truly loved Jen at one point. My husband has always been the same way with gifts and showing love, but of course I give back just as much. It’s mutual. Take that away and no matter how much a man loves a woman, they would eventually get tired of a one sided thing. I think it was easier to overlook before kids but once they came along he started questioning what kind of marriage example he was setting for his children. Especially for his son. Maybe he thought to himself that losing half of everything now for the sake of stopping a bad example for the kids was worth it. Especially since he’s only going to earn more money as the years goes on. Better to cut his losses now and move on and find a woman who will return the love and affection. I think once he realized he was done, that was it. He turned cold on Jen. Can’t say I blame him. 17 years of her using him and being cold towards him made him resentful. And the fact that he has money meant that he could afford to divorce rather than stay in a bad situation because he couldn’t afford an out.. -

She can not be seriously thinking they are all going to "do Disney" together, and it will be fine!!! It will be a nightmare … can you imagine how awful that would be … everybody rolling their eyes at Jen, Don being super duper pissy, and giving those death stares.
I can't wait!!! Maybe she'll vlog … wouldn't that be crazy!!!!.
