I do actually think she has/had anxiety and a whole host of other issues, which caused her to have GI distress from time to time. She did not seek out and/or receive the support she needed and she deflected those feelings of lack of control and hormone-induced mood swings. I do not at all mean to speak negatively about the postpartum period. I recently had a baby and it is tough. Especially with a toddler in the house. I get it. But I also was self-aware enough to know when I wasn't acting myself and to ask for help when I needed it. Jen can't ask for help. She can't own up to her actual issues. She invents issues she thinks are more socially acceptable and/or gaslights people into seeing what she wants them to see instead of confronting her real demons head on. Just my opinion, though.

Jen’s self-esteem is already non-existent. That’s why she seeks validation and head pats because she fundamentally has no sense of self. Because of that she can never appear vulnerable or in need of help. If she exhibits weakness it would confirm what she already thinks of herself. This is also why she is constantly identity seeking. She has no clue who she is. And if she ever happens on an identity, she is fearful others will see through it to the real Jen who in her mind is inferior.
On the poor mothering by Jen - it should have been a HUGE red flag to Don when a young woman he married with no career, or outside aspirations, etc. kept avoiding having children for TEN YEARS. He should have cut his losses and moved on before creating TWO! with a woman who didn’t want them and still doesn’t have one maternal bone in her entire body. Not one. |

A normal mother will do things for their children out of love and affection, and never mention it again. A CNM will remind her children of everything she HAD to do for them to achieve guilt-tripping or manipulate.
A normal mother will attend most special events in her children’s lives, only missing one or two due to uncontrollable circumstances. The CNM will attend only a few, and only those that are of interest or significance to her.
With a normal mother, her children are one of the top priorities in her life. The CNM has at least one priority that demands much more from her than her children.
When a normal mom occasionally gets into a fight with one of her older children, the mother is the more mature individual, she’ initiates reconciliation afterwards and implement steps to prevent further conflict concerning the issue at hand. It takes her a while to reach emotional equilibrium afterwards. Where-as the CNM handles the conflict like a child, rarely apologises afterwards, repeatedly fights over the same issue and carries on like nothing happened after 5 minutes.
When a normal mom’s relationship with a child deteriorates, she will first self-reflect to find the cause. The CNM will blame the father or the child, if a father is not present. She will be the victim.
When going through a challenging time financially, the normal mom will put the needs of her children above hers, and manage her finances frugally. The CNM will spend money foolishly, and on other priorities to the detriment of her children.
The normal mom will reluctantly ask for an occasional time-off. The CNM will need daily me-time.
The normal mom nurtures her children. The CNM is unconcerned about her children’s torn clothes, unappetizing lunchboxes, head lice, and body-odour. These needs are left to the father to address, the children themselves or not at all.
In short – the normal mother is always THERE. The narcissistic mother, not so much ...

| Jen couldn’t fly with those kids alone so I think Don and T. flew out to Utah with them and Jen arrived sometime later - picked them up and went glamping for 2 days and returned them to a designated meet space and then took off on her own and flew home alone. Summers in August in Utah is Don’s designated time. Jen met briefly with PK to show that SHE is still “friends” with him and accepted by him and documented it with the CC pic she allowed. She was not invited to his wedding reception party.
She definitely DID NOT stay at the log prison and perhaps did not even pick up/drop off the kids in person. Again, probably did that at some “off campus” meet spot. She wasn’t even there to take a photo from the patio area. She’s no longer welcome there as she is not a part of that family anymore. Her children are - she is not. She didn’t even try to fake that because she’s so far out of that world that even she can’t weave that illusion. By saying “we’re out here with our family” was, as others have said, her manipulation of words to further her delusional and contrived narrative. |

| I watched the destestable IG story - she is forever vulnerable to what other people think of her. She’s been this way her entire life and even with “therapy”, life coaches, shitquotes by the truckload and bullshit female empowerment books, she has not moved that dial an iota.
I started to watch the video and had to stop. She incenses me with her hypocrisy, smugness and self-focus. Naturally, she chose the worst day to visit Bear Lake. (I grew up going there). Other IGers have posted trips there this summer and it was stunningly beautiful.
The SOLE purpose of this was to show The Bakery that she was in Utah this August. But know, she was NOT at the log prison. At least not when Don and the new Mrs. Ross were there.

His parents are culpable for obstruction of justice and most likely for far worse.
