It is my opinion that the Palace was behind the rumors of Harry being James Hewitts son, to harm Dianas reputation. I think this is an extension of that.

I'm just going to preface this by saying I think these people are all a bunch of useless leeches. That being said, it's hilarious that people think Meg is the Whore of Babylon and Kate is the perfect little prim princess. They both knew what they were doing when they latched onto Will and Harry. I don't for one second buy that Megan didn't know who Harry was, but the thought that Kate didn't actively pursue Will is equally laughable.
