I love how Jen thought the dog bowl left out was for food and not obviously a water bowl.... because her dog has never drank out of a water bowl. I really hope she didn't put winnie's food in that. -
.These goddamn filters. Both were on the same day. Fantasy versus reality. And your bitter, poor little rich girl reality is seeping out of every pore, Gene.
It's got to be hard to see herself with the insta filters, then the skin smoothing filters of her camera, then in the mirror.
And she's all alone, so no one to remind her that these filters aren't reality and that it's ok.
I mean, I'm not saying she's a model, and she could use a bit of blowdryingand stuff, but she looks average to me, for her age and life. Some people look younger, true, but there is no shame in looking your age*.

Jen needs to learn what colors flatter her. She's obviously a warm-toned "autumn" but she constantly wears cool blacks and greys which grey her out even more. She even sometimes wears that silvery grey eyeshadow and it just looks awful.
Jen! Go pay for a My Color Guru consultation! It will change your life. Or at least help you out more than those IG filters do. -

For all the talk about fueling her body and wanting to be strong and healthy, she looks like a bag of playdough stuffed into compression workout gear. I think you can be curvy and healthy/strong, but Jen is not. Yet again, she's wishing and pretending her body is something it's not. -

Wait you guys! I'm rewatching Vlogust 2013 because I have no life and she says that any time she opens a chocolate bar, she has to eat the whole thing in one sitting. Sooo my guess is that giant Staycation chocolate bar wasn't the only one she brought... one for each night perhaps? I can so see Jen panicking if she felt like she didn't have enough chocolate to soothe her weary solo traveler soul.

How sad to be able to afford pretty much whatever you want and not have a home that you love being in.
I feel like Outdoorsy Jen was her attempt to spite Don and make him see how caged she was. Too bad he doesn't care and her new "interests" appeal to absolutely no one.
I think a better way to spite him would have been living it up as a sexy urbanite divorcee. City condo, shopping, fabulous meals, nights out, a new group of awesome girlfriends. Girls trips to Miami when Don has the kids! Ugh. I just hate watching Jen waste her life away because I know many people who would kill for the opportunities she has. -

To me, shaming a breastfeeding or pregnant woman for what she eats is cruising for a bruising...really asking for it. But, our Jenny never hesitated.

Not sure if she's been mentioned yet but Lauren Nicholson is doing great things on YouTube. Her decor style may not be for everyone but she really goes for it and definitely has an eye for design. Fun to watch! She's very put together and seems sweet.

Near the end of this video when she tells us she is skipping her hike to get on the early ferry (and get a pumpkin chai) she literally says "I'm going to give myself the day off"
To me, that means she does not truly enjoy hiking and outdoorsy stuff. It's a job. Just like she used to give herself days off (PD Days) when her "job" was housewife and "taking great care" of Don.
People who actually enjoy camping and hiking do these things on their days off. This is their fun. Jen's fun is driving around with a pumpkin chai thinking about how uncaged she is.
I had been waffling about whether maybe Jen was really enjoying all this new outdoorsy stuff and we were being too hard on her. But after hearing that (and seeing her miserable in the Dolomites and at the end of this video) it's clear to me she is lying to us and (more importantly) to herself. Authentic my ass. Get to know yourself, Jennifer.
