They should tackle their wastefulness first, instead of building up a hoarder's pantry. In every food video she talks about food going bad, and has for years. For them to have so many mouths to feed, she doesn't keep up with food rotation at all. Or food preservation. Why continue to buy bags of lemons and limes when you know they will go off... or a huge bag of garlic that you're going to take a month to "process." For years she says she's going to do a, b, c, and never does.

Grocery prices are going down on certain items, so why not shop sales? If eggs are too expensive, I switch to a different protein. If beef is too high, I do chicken or pork. Completely cutting out certain categories (like bagels) cuz they cost too much only hurts the kids, but she doesn't care about them anyways.

She 100000% has no freakin' idea what the hell she's doing and none of that food is going to be eaten. It's all going to end up dumped (not even buried) somewhere in the acreage. Which will in turn attract animals and make the place even more dangerous than what it already is.

I follow an Instagramer (family of 6: 2 adults, 4 teenage boys) who is not a doomsayer/prepper but does do large-scale canning/food storage, and you can't compare the amount of work she puts into buying food that makes sense to store. When she finds sales, she immediately does whatever it is she needs to do to store the food; it's not unusual for her to take 12-24 hours to do large-scale canning. One example was when they were given something like 10 old chickens. With those chickens, she made: stock and canned it; cooked the chicken and canned it; made bone broth and canned it. It took her well over 12 hours, 2 professional pressure cookers, and 1 professional canner to do it all. There is no way in hell that Sarah has the time, knowledge of patience to know what to do any of this.

There was another example where she was able to buy like 50 lbs of apples for less than 5 bucks. Again, within a matter of a day, she had made and canned: apple sauce; apple pie filling; and apple slices (think like the fruit cups you buy in the store).

Sarah doesn't know how to find sales or use produce/vegetables/meat in more than 1 obvious way. Finding the sales takes time & patience. Doing the work takes time, knowledge and patience. We all know she has none of these things

The thing with Lissy is that the blog and YouTube were never meant to be an income source for her. They were something she did for fun and to share what she was wearing, and sometimes she included things to do with her home.

I personally think she's doing exactly what a person with a healthy relationship with social media does: she posts somewhat regularly to Instagram, which is quick and reaches her large circle of friends, but there is no obsession with being on all the platforms or keeping up with anybody.

Would I like her to do more YouTube videos? of course!! I find her a very interesting figure and always welcome the glimpses she gives into her life. Do I commend her for living her life and ignoring YouTube? yeah, I do.

And with this video, I have absolutely no desire to even hate-watch Lisa.
She used *word-for-word* TERF (radical feminist) rhetoric and I have absolutely no place in my life for somebody like her, even if it's "just" hate-watching.

It's been good chatting with you ladies, but I'm out permanently

    Hi Ruby44/Lissy

Dude, if you seriously think I'm Lissy you definitely haven't been paying attention to anything I post on this site or followed Lissy for very long.

Different topic: how long has Lisa been shilling Walmart? has it been just about a year?

I ask because I'm not aware of many social media professionals who keep contracts with companies for over 12 months. I'm not talking about linking & affiliate codes, but rather the cash payments that we know Walmart, Nordstrom, Fabletics etc. give in order for individuals to advertise their items.

If it's been just about a year, it'll be fascinating to see if her contract gets renewed (which means she is selling wayyyyyyyyy more items through her links than we realize) or not (which means she's going to have to find a new way to make her monthly car payment)

Again, she never gets it right. That light pink, skintight dress above is terrible with heavy, clunky shoes, not to mention terrible in the daytime. Skintight dresses like that, on an older woman, look tacky and stupid in the daytime. She needs to stop with the body con dresses.

At a glance, in that light pink dress above, she looks like Ivanka Trump, who is another "not pretty" woman with an overfilled face and lips?

I agree that she never gets it right but in a different way than you
    😛

She should absolutely stop with the body-con dresses as a general rule.
With the light pink dress, the shoes aren't horrible with it, it's the unstructured purse that kills the outfit. The colour is right, but she needed a smaller and heavier purse to balance out the shoes (you known, perhaps one of the many Coach bags she purchased last summer 😜)

I've mentioned it before: Lisa has NO idea how to combine colours & prints. She is only able to combine black/on/black or do an outfit in a single, solid colour where the various pieces are all exactly the same shade. She has no idea how to create interest, or balance out her outfits using colour. She *always* relies on a "pop of colour" with her shoes and always gets it wrong.

I just read through this website: www.tesla.com/support/ordering

I was wrong about when financing happens: my guess is because delivery takes so long (their financing is only valid for 60-90 but deliveries are taking an average of 180 days to complete.

But I *was* right about the delivery being an option regardless of how far away she lived from the dealership

Now, what I want to know, is why didn't they trade in the car directly to Tesla vs. going back to BMW?!?!

And I'm now thinking is this one of the shady business practices Lisa does:
"Can I register my car to a business?
Yes. You may register your vehicle to your business. Special conditions apply when it comes to financing under a business, so please consult with your Tesla representative."

I suspect we'll be seeing a few more car vlogs in order to justify having the car registered to the business entity she & John created

Interesting that Tesla allows for a sublease. Learn something every day!
Our nephew works for Tesla, Maryland market area. I thought they only deliver if you are more than 225 miles from the dealership? And, maybe Lisa is. I only know what I read here.

The 225 miles distance is likely the official distance that the dealership delivers, but we all know that when you have $$ and don't want to do the pedestrian thing of driving 4 hours to pick up a car (2 hours each way; roughly 260 miles between Wilmington and Raleigh), you hire a professional delivery service or you pay the delivery fee, regardless of what it is 😉 But again, we've all observed that neither Lisa nor John have consistent rational thoughts, especially with how they chose to spend their money. I ran the rough numbers and they could have paid $300 to a professional car delivery service, which is cheaper when you factor in the cost of filling up John's truck (likely a Ford 150) and the time they wasted.

As for the sub-leasing, again, we've speculated over and over again that they are fully immersed in shady business practices, so whether Tesla allows it or not, is not something that'd hold either one of them back 😜

I can admit when I'm wrong, and I was clearly wrong about the Tesla. I can own that.

But I can't imagine Lisa driving the Tesla for more than 6 months. The fact that she expected to get a *full-day* driving lesson from the dealership says it all; I actually think 6 months is too long, and wouldn't be surprised if lasts through the summer and then something mysterious happens to the car but we don't hear about it for another 2-3 months.

They'll sublease the car, or John will start renting it out (apparently there's a veryyyyyy profitable, private, short-term renters market for Teslas; the average 48-72 hour period costs just about $175/day).

I have wondered if John cashed out a significant amount of his cryptocurrency in early November (just after the massive high that occurred in October) and that served as the down payment for the car. The getting rid of the BMW early likely happened for insurance purposes vs. needing it for leasing (she said she sold the BMW 2 weeks ago and didn't say anything at all about the leasing. Leasing happens at the time of sale, not pick-up).

I do agree that most folks who can afford to buy this kind of Tesla are getting it delivered, not driving 2 hours to do a personal pick-up, especially when they haven't driven a Tesla before.

There is absolutely no way Lisa is getting a Tesla. Her father won't let her as he very likely is a Regan republican who firmly believes that climate change is bullshit, and that gasoline is the only thing powering a car.

The thing we absolutely have to remember in relation to Will and Lisa's use of the word 'social' is that we have NO idea if she's using the word accurately (as somebody else already posted). It could be that he had a small friend group by choice, and she didn't like it. It could be that large groups overwhelmed him; it could be that he was shy; it could be that he preferred to stay indoors in the library during recess vs. going outside and playing sports; it could be sooooo many things and we will never know because 1. Lisa doesn't know how to use words; 2. Lisa is manipulating the story so that she will never be truly at fault for whatever was going on (even her mentioning that Will is angry doesn't really explain WTF happened).

We have a crazy number of examples where Lisa has outright used the wrong terminology for something; used overly simplified language to describe very complex things; and used words that she believes describe something that will be understood by all, when the reality is that the word only makes sense in her limited understanding of whatever it is she's talking about.

We've seen this with perfumes (she keeps using the words "clean/fresh" to describe perfumes that are recognized as being heavy); with the stupid way she eats (where she keeps insisting that she eats "clean"); and when she describes make-up (using the same, limited, words over and over again).

She has been on the road a lot. Charleston, Mexico, Vegas and a few other places. I have a gut feeling about what is going on, but its just that. Time will tell if I am correct with my thoughts . . .

No more than she traveled pre-covid and pre her cancer diagnosis :being-confused-smiley-emoticon:

Ha! I know exactly where you got that picture from :P
The MASSIVE difference is that the store that is selling those is located in one of the most expensive neighbourhoods of its city, and it's not a cheap city to live in; it's catering to a clientele that has upscale places and events that are beach/summer related, where the bag will be appropriate and make sense; the owner of the store has a clientele that can afford to drop close to $2K on a bag and then use that bag as they go to a beach-related cancer fundraiser that cost them $5K/plate and not think twice about the other fundraisers they'll be attending *that month*

Lisa on the other hand is using her $2K bag to go shop for flowers at Lowes/Home Depot/Walmart

    Did Lissy retire from YouTube?

I don't think so. She goes in spurts sometimes. I think she travels a lot in the summer and takes a good bit of time off from her 9-5 and YT. She's posted on IG a bit.

Lissy isn't on "full" vacation when she takes trips that are longer than a long-week (Friday-Monday) unless she's flying out of the country: she's in a position where you don't fully disconnect unless you absolutely have to, so she does a fair amount of work even she's in Mexico (like she was last week ;-))
  15. .
    1. Lisa doesn't "give" anywhere near as much as she says she does
    2. Lisa hangs on to *everything* that has a memory associated with it (i.e. the blazer from the early 1990s she pullet out in 2021, and her giving Brooke a purse she used in the 90s)
    3. She stopped talking about the storage unit, but she hasn't accidentally dropped info on having gotten rid of it either

These things together (and knowing that she has the larger of the 2 closets in their master, plus the 2 existing closets in the attic AND the extra storage space that is being finished) means that she very likely has several thousands of pieces of clothing & shoes, many of which she doesn't know she still has

Lisa is a hoarder, plain and simple. It doesn't manifest itself visually the way the media shows hoarders (i.e. the show on A&E with very dirty houses, or houses full of garbage), but Lisa has a problem and it's ignored by everyone in her life.
