2 minutes into the ‘mistake’ video and she’s complaining again about being treated rudely. “It’s fine…. It’s fine.” I love it. :hearty-laugh:

    She posted this accidentally, right?

I just don't understand what she's trying to prove with this absolute garbage. "Well, Don, you've found a wife who appears to bathe? I'll show you!"

This is really the crux of it, I think. She had a great thing going and she blew it, and she knows she blew it. The only way for her to save face now is to spin this narrative that that’s not what she wanted, and even when it looked like she had happy times, she was only pretending (cough cough bullshit). To make her narrative seem even remotely plausible, she has to turn her back on all of it - not just the husband, the house, the hobbies but even the little details like the makeup and grooming and expensive (if not particularly well fitted) clothes. If she admits that she still has any interest in those things then it’s like admitting that she played but she lost. She marches around declaring “I don’t care” but all of this proves that she very much does still care. If she really didn’t care she would say, I want a day at the spa and a haircut damnit - even if I know I’ll never look as good as Tensleigh. THAT would be not caring.

    they also had each other.

But they didn’t have Jen’s rage or resentment to see them through. :enraged-smiley-emoticon: Honestly, I think when she’s hurting during stuff like this she thinks of Don and his new life and Mrs Ross 2.0 and it powers her though.

She’ll finish it. Kara and Nate did and while they are generally active, they certainly didn’t follow a set training plan, and they did just fine.

She made it too easy. She said it’s at elevation; time on her feet; essentially gave the dates; we know it’s near where she left her car; and she just dropped that it’s in a country she’s never visited. And knowing her, we also know she’s going to be copying some YouTuber or other (in this case, Kara + Nate).

Jen, next time please give us a challenge.

In her feelings? She actually seemed more happy in the vlog and the live what happened between then and now.

Whistler doesn't have snow in the forecast. It's going to be 15 to 24C this next week.

Whistler Village is warm, yes, but Whistler Peak’s low for today is -1 Celsius and it did snow at the peak a few days ago.

It’s actually snowing today at Whistler peak. It’s definitely the Everesting challenge.

Ali Edwards has been going to that DMB weekend for years. If I were her I would take out a restraining order against Jen - this is just downright weird.

I think the pre-edit Italy video with the crying and insulting of Italians still exists somewhere; could some kind baker please point me to it? Thanks so much.

I think Jen will finish, though it won’t be pretty. She finished the Dopey challenge, which was impressive, and we know her output on Peloton is generally high. I don’t think Kara and Nate trained a whole lot for it and they were able to finish, and Jen will follow suit.

I do think if Kara and Nate had never done this, Jen wouldn’t even know it exists. She’s just trying to emulate other YouTubers again.

Do we like this Kara and Nate?

5 years ago they were genuine, relatable and fun to watch. Now with 3M+ subscribers and being gifted luxury train trips/cruises/first class flights, they’re less relatable and too smug for my liking. I only rarely watch them anymore.

Why is everyone so sure she’s doing an everesting challenge? I don’t think she can finish, even with her legendary stubbornness.

Because she mentioned in prior videos that she is doing
    - an endurance challenge
    - it will require a lot of time on her feet
    - it’s at elevation
    - I think she mentioned it’s out west (or am I making that up?)
    - most telling of all, she mentioned that it’s happening this fall, and then she said something like “right at the beginning of fall” which lines up with the Whistler dates of September 22-25, plus the fact that her truck is positioned such that it’s a likely destination for her in the next few weeks.

Sure hope she doesn’t come here and complain about “The Canadians”.

    QUOTE (Breakdown @ 4/9/2022, 23:58)
I think my suspicions that Jenny was reclaiming Hawaii this weekend were wrong. The Kauai marathon & half marathon were today and unless it took :yellow-laughing-smiley-emoticon athlete :yellow-laughing-smiley-emoticon Gene six hours to crawl across the finish line or she used an alias, I don't see her on the leaderboard.

But with tomorrow being Labor Day and a lot of schools starting the following day, being all the way in Hawaii would have been a convenient yet weaksauce excuse for her to avoid the kids' first day of school.

Hawaii doesn’t fit with her SUV-sleeping persona. Other than Disney, I don’t think she’ll do any travelling that’s not related to her Truck for a while.

I feel like such and idiot, yet also kinda proud. I just put it together with your comment. Now I understand the meaning behind Whod*nnit! Am I the only one?

Clue us in! I always read the name as Who Done It - what’s the story behind the name?

I did too and think I’m still missing the point. :being-confused-smiley-emoticon:
