I had probably one of the worst days in my career today. And not to sound like Jen, but none of it was my fault. It was all decisions being made above me that I cannot control. It all came to a head today and it broke me. Like walk right past my boss and out of the building holding in tears bad. I want to hide under a rock. I suddenly understand why Jen is in hiding. I wish I could just hide from the world like her.

Why are we declaring numbers? What page do I need to read back to? :yellow-laughing-smiley-emoticon

Hugs, Wookie. And F- those bastards that made your day bad.

Yeah, F ‘em. Better yet, let’s unleash Patrice on them.

Remind me never to post a picture of something random, such as the planters in my back yard. You guys would have ny house ID’d by dinner. 😂

Along with your social security number, astrological sign and shoe size. I’m in awe (and a little scared) of the Baker Detective Agency. 😂

I really enjoy Blair Lamb's videos. Yes, her Type A anxiety sometimes gives me Type A anxiety but she's different from Jen in so many (positive) ways - hard worker, serious about her career, attentive mom, actually seems to like her husband, doesn't lie about the dumbest things. She has a lot of ailments she complains about but whatevs...she seems to be a genuinely nice person at heart, again unlike Jen. And if Riley is screening her comments, I agree that's kind of sweet.

Yes, Jen — do something. Anything.

If you do not comply with our wishes in this matter, no more headpats will be forthcoming.

    Think about it.

That’s a nice gift! I won’t lie, my mom and I wandered by a Longchamp store and I told her how crazy ass Jen used one as a pool bag for travel.
We each left with a Lonchamp pool bag for travel.

That’s the thing. Jen has some serious personality flaws, but she had some great recommendations.

Heaven help me, I did the same with the Longchamp pool bag. It’s so convenient to pack. I stayed for the snark but I originally starting watching Jen as a proxy for my own personal shopper. Who will recommend artisanal chocolate and bespoke pottery to me now??? Come back, Jen!!

    Personal Day, STAT!!

Indeed! I wanted to treat myself to some bespoke pottery, rent a Sprinter van, and drive to Lake Forest. But, sadly due to some devastating news, I had to stay home and let my husband of choice, who thank goodness is still available, wait on me hand and foot to make up for the peanut butter trauma.

Ha! Off to tell Mr Nesbitt his new nickname is "Husband of Choice". He should love that.....

Oh, and TJ's cookie butter for me. Peanut butter be damned. YOLO.

Oh Tens, darling, if you’re reading here (and I think you are), please don’t lock down your Pinterest. I’m so enjoying contrasting your taste to She Who Will Not Post!

Instagram story - 2 minutes of unkempt Winnie digging around in her bed, doing that doggo nesting thing. At the very end, when Winnie finally settles in, she says “was that satisfying?” There’s a sobby-sounding catch in her voice that makes it clear she’s been crying. It made me feel sad for her, as I’m sure it was designed to do.

Definitely sounds like she’s been crying. Both the gasp and the stuffiness.

    What are we talking about?

Hearing that little sob in her voice makes me
feel sorry for her. She’s definitely in a world of pain, even though she brought it on herself. I know, I know, I’m such a sap.

Met Mr Nesbitt in February, had one date before we moved in together in April, engaged in November, married the following June.

16 months soup to nuts so to speak LOL

Our 38th anniversary is June 30th. It can happen.....

Some intrepid Baker somewhere is burning up the Interwebs searching for an Illinois or Utah marriage license. May take some time to be filed but it’ll be found eventually.

Would be hella weird to marry someone and not call the new spouse's kids family...

Agree — would be super presumptuous to do that if they’re not married already.....jeezy creezy I thought I was going to get some work done today. Looks like I’ll be refreshing the Bakery instead LOL

Friends, in addition to the last name change, Tensleigh’s updated bio on Instagram touts her “modern family”. Does that mean she’s “unofficially” claiming CC and Donny as part of HER family? Signs seem to be pointing to a shotgun wedding or elopement. Thoughts, fellow bakers????

I wonder how much the pandemic influenced the Beautiful Romance. Maybe Tens and Don spent a lot of time together when everyone was locked down and they got to know each other really well in what chronologically was a short period of time? Maybe they’re both feeling YOLO with everything that’s gone down in the past 15 months? Guess this is an unanswerable question but I have to think it had some influence. We’ve all been through too much.
