I worked with a woman who divorced her long time husband (they had adult kids now in their 20's) and met her next husband 3 months after the divorce and married him less than a year later. He seems like to be a dream guy provider wise... he's wealthy, semi retired, loves to cook (she doesn't) she doesn't have to work now and they travel a ton. I would imagine if the guy doesn't have many negatives there would be no waiting too long to make that life official, especially if the first marriage had its struggles.

If one was aligned with Don’s philosophical viewpoints, and didn’t mind the whole micro correcting/poem writing/sock dropping thing, I could see him being someone’s dream man.
People have different ideas about what constitutes a good match.
On the other hand, I cannot in any way see Jen being someone’s dream woman. She is just a bundle of neuroses, and such a high opinion of herself. Without a sense of humor, and filthy as well. Just no.. -

Regarding Don’s suitability as a partner - I imagine that money will smooth over a lot of differences. A comfortable life must make a lot of little annoyances much easier to deal with. Just look at all of the real trophy wives you’ve all ever seen. Do you think they’re all soulmates? This is why we knew he’d have no trouble finding Mrs Ross the Second.

While Jen is a smug idiot, I encourage anyone watching this video to keep their eyes on Don, who cannot keep his eyes off himself and truly struggles to keep that fat tongue of his from slipping out.

If ever TWO! jerks deserved each other, it's these two. They're both sickening.

You and I, and many others, are definitely in the they deserved each other camp. When they decided they could do better I let out a wail that sounded like Nancy Kerrigan getting kneecapped.
Not that I was heartbroken for them, but the unrest of those two spinning loose in the world can only cause destruction.. -
