I think that they were expecting a lot of people to be looking online, but maybe the numbers aren't as great as they hoped. Most estate agents, including many branch managers, have been furloughed here. |

Her whole life has been taking on the Identity of others bc she doesn’t have one. I think that’s a lot of where her “anxiety” comes from. I’m thinking her life coaches are telling her to pick back up old activities (running, Roller blading, cleaning) to capture what she was like before kids and it’s not helping bc she doesn’t even know who she was then either. Now she says her kids give her purpose. That’s a lot of pressure on those kids. She is going to live her life “finding joy”, bc she hasn’t found it yet and may never.
Two things I can say she truly does love are baths and the hairy child. I really don’t know what will happen when the dog passes.

I agree with this analysis, and it helps to make sense of the "Dealing with Doubt" video from last May that someone recommended in the last thread.
I watched it again after this and with hindsight it seems that Don had already moved out at this point, or at least checked out of the relationship, and Jen is trying to make sense of what's happening.
Some people have said that Jen & Don will get back together. It would make a good story - Divorce delayed by Global Pandemic, and the Couple decide to reunite. I can't see a reunion for them in the near future. As some have said I can see Don dating a more career minded person, maybe not in the same field has him, an accountant or lawyer? I can also see him resurrecting his cookery You Tube channel, and maybe a cookery book, with some more healthy options now that he's lost weight.
Anyway crystal ball's getting cloudy now, back to the day job ......!! |

I agree with this. Don't think that Jen would have chosen "Connect" as her word of the year at the start of 2019 if she'd known that this was the year that she would be separating/divorcing from her partner of 15+ years.
Bit of a lurker here. I've been watching Jen for a few years, and found the bakery after a few of the videos towards the end of last year - crying in Oregon, Christmas decorations being put up at the start of November, and the sad Mommy's day out in December. |
