When I watch that old video I am reminded why I used to enjoy her videos (even if I was annoyed at her contradictions - aka - "I am repurposing bins in Utah" / "I am also buying a bunch of new bins fors Utah"). She seemed like she did not have a care in the world ! Her only stress was to give herself little challenges : how to fit my stuff in a bag ? How to plan my next trip ? It felt like true escapism to watch her because she represented a lifestyle that few people get to live (no responsibility, no job, just inventing "work" and role playing adult life by traveling but without having to stress about making money to travel). I agree with others that she had a spark that she doesn't now. I've watched a few of Eva's videos and it's clear to me now that she is trying to copycat her and in Eva's content it feels authentic and even inspiring but in Jen's content it feels...pretend...like she is again just "role playing". But this time, it feels like she is role playing to prove a point and there is something so passive agressive about it. Like she insists on being a constant stress for people in her life (granted there are few) who must worry about her wellbeing since she seems to be so wreckless as a mother. Of course, Jen sees everything through the lens of a narcissist so she can do no wrong and she probably reads about the mother who was abducted and killed (so sad) and thinks (see! someone can murder you in your own city so might as well go on and wild camp in the middle of nowhere!). I think her whole vibe comes off as "trying to prove something" and not "being authentically curious". Her outside looks are just a reflection of her inner bitterness it seems.
Eva Zu Beck is an extra small to a small Jen ? I mean, I think she is a solid medium (not small) and at times large I just don't understand how she can say that with so much confidence : I am a small... Also that tent dress style on her...nope
I just want to add : I don't think Jen is fat at all. I think her legs have definition since doing so many workouts. I do not think it looks like she spends 4 hours a day working out.
I hate how she can't own her medium body...it feels like she is always fat shaming the rest of the people who actually have a body shape comparable to hers

I am watching now and it is extremely uncomfortable to watch. She blabbers on and on about how she eats and doesn't eat and it's sooooo much overthinking! I am sure this will be useful for people studying food disorders. The amount of denial in her is amazing. I can just imagine how Don has more mental space now that he does not have to listen to her verbally process how she ate toast today but does not think she will eat toast tomorrow until the dead of winter but maybe she will because toast is a breakfast she likes and in fact she likes breakfast food for lunch which you don't hear many people talk about (uh Jen, you live under a rock. There is literally a name for breakfast at lunch: it's called brunch and people with a social life, a.k.a. Tens, have brunch all the time with friends). So yeah I do feel like her inner hamster wheel is in full show in this video and it's clear she has ISSUES
This is such an awful video! I don't get what her excitement is...she is so rich that she could get a mini cottage somewhere. She could get an actually camping van. Instead she spends so much money on something that will clearly be ephemeral.

So do we think Don made a lot more money post divorce because of the selling of his company ? I saw this mentioned a few times but have just checked this out now. Since it’s an undisclosed amount, do we think it is many millions ? Any idea ? I guess I am wondering if you think they can afford the 17 million dollar home in Utah. If so … good for them ! I have not watched yet but I have been thinking about this and why didn't Jen just get a Subaru ? She should just get a Subaru SUV - it's like she wants a man who drives a Toyota so she becomes the man who drives a Toyota...she just goes too radical on these things. A Subaru would be perfect for an active lifestyle - it's a cute car - she could do family things (not just bring them to kindergarten but actual outside adventures).
I just don't understand how someone with her money does not get a subaru, a Volvo, something...that...makes...sense...
