Faken is schtruggling now that she has to feed her daughter "real food". So much extra planning, and cleaning, and things involved.
    :shaking_head_smiley_emoticon: It's called being a parent, Faken.

Right! I do feel that first time parents end up over complicating the whole moving to real food. You don't have to introduce 100 foods before their one. Our pediatrician eased a ton of our anxiety by saying just feed them what you eat. Overcomplicating the whole real food process tends to lead kids to being picky eaters in the long run.

Has anyone noticed an increase in sponsored posts relating to planner accounts on Instagram? Are people actually buying those ads and sponsoring their weekly spreads?

Like live love posh & kellofaplan??

I expect those since they are a business. I am more talking just a regular planner spread from someone. I have seen at least ten now of accounts having sponsored posts not selling anything just showing their planner spread. I guess it is for more engagement? No idea. Just thought it was strange.

In her new PWM she’s already dissing her new job 🤣 and throwing shade at Taylor Swift fans.

So predictable, she now has rings on IG.

I mean Julie doesn't have an original thought in her head so she has to rely on the evil twins Meg and Myra to give her cohesive ideas about what is cool.

She put up a survey asking how often people swap out their bath towel: every few days, weekly, or monthly.

    Wondering why she’s asking. 🤓

Okay it has been awhile since I have read this thread but WHAT? I have a lot of mental health issues but I AT LEAST change out towels every 2 days.

I am bringing back #savesam because my goodness to deal with that.

Likely moving her Friday Night Live to Patreon -- for the money.

I'm sure that Meg & Myra or Laura told / taught her in their Patreon so she needs to copy...

Ya'll remember when she hated on creators for having a Patreon? Especially ALLL the happy planner creators. The amount of times she jabbed at them for having a "worthless" Patreon. She see how much they are bringing in and wants that pie.

Her whole plan with me is batching about people. I wonder if she ever recognized that people did have it bad really bad in the midwest. Not every house is well built for this. I doubt it but she wants all the sympathy. Stfu already

The sad part is that people fall into that trap all the time and she gets to reap the reward with engagement. Until people realize that she is just farming for engagement, she will continue because it makes her relevant.

My point about Julie is made. She knows she is going to get comments when she talks about the weather and her first post is about the weather and of course she can't help but put a post up about people commenting.

Honestly it's comical, predictable and ridiculous. Yeah we get it it's cold there.

Oh 100%. Julie is really good at farming for engagement now since she has been part of Laur's social star program.

When is Texas going to realize this is the coming reality? It DOES suck even in Chicago and we are prepared. I am not talking about major changes but small ones. You can't buy a snow scraper from a store but Amazon has thousands. Insulation isn't cheap but I am kind of irritated hearing this. Why don't you want well insulated homes for your AC needs. I know it isn't cheap but I also don't feel like things aren't being done to deal with the issues.

    Your climate is changing.

Did she build that house? Could have added a generator or a wood burning fireplace. She doesn't want to be prepared she wants to bitch. She wants a reason to be a victim.

I feel the same about the people who rebuild in flood zones and hurricane zones. Like really?

Ps don't gloat when you have nice weather as well. I see people doing that to Northerners in the same breath. It doesn't bother me because you couldn't pay me to suffer through your summers so I will take the cold all day

Because of all the deregulation in Texas this is the result unfortunately. Houses are built cheaply, the electric grid failing, etc. I feel for the people of Texas because it could be better. As much as government regulation sucks sometimes, I would rather have it than an electric grid failing in the middle of a winter like this.

    🚨New annoyance.

Okay, I’ve had it the this one just really hit me as super annoying. There’s a planner brand that I think is newer in last few years. I know a couple people I follow that use them.

They decided to send 2024 to all the “supposed influencers”. Who just started acting like “this is the best planner fucking ever”. And now they all have codes too. I’m sure they will use them a few days. On one level it’s some exposure. But on the other these people who jump at a chance to be relevant and get an affiliate code. 🤦🏼‍♀️

It’s just this super fake part of planner land I can’t get behind.

I think it is because many of these planner companies are struggling. So are the influencers. They are not making as much as they use from a few years ago. Go wild tickets STILL have not sold out. They just did a huge email campaign to try and get more people to buy tickets. Many of these influencers pushed away their core audience and are wondering why they are not gaining followers like they once did. The writing has been on the wall for awhile but alot of them didnt want to have to put in work to change. They all waited till it was too late and now are grasping at straws to get people to use their codes.

People are BROKE right now. People can barely buy groceries but yeah let me spend 60$ on a planner. These planner companies and influencers are delusional.

I’ve noticed that a lot of people in the planner community are suddenly all into reading. It’s like they’re new hobby to track in their planners. But yes, Julie is bandwagon jumping for sure!

I am convinced it is because they see the ship sailing on making money off of people in the planner community. People have caught on to these fakers so they need a new revenue source. Thing is the book community is not as forgiving as the planner community. Bookstagram and Booktok can smell these blood suckers from a mile away and will call them out on their bullshit.

Setting up a book journal video...girl, you have read like 3 books LOL. I remember on her IG stories awhile back she said she hated reading.

Of course. She doesn't haven an original idea in that brain of hers. All she can do is copy the entire community.

Maybe she's actually a trend setter because I have seen a few other planner ladies posting "planner trends" videos recently. Why do all these people think they are planner authorities? The air of smugness and superiority with this is just gross to me. My eyes are rolling hard over this whole planner trends thing.

What is hilarious is this trend happens usually around the same time every year too. The "lets not over consume this holiday season by buying stickers or markers we will never use. OH but make sure to use my affiliate code to xyz shop so I can get a kickback. It is different when you use an affiliate code. Yay black friday!" :chatter-box-smiley-emoticon:
