Agree, Don will try to fix any problems or issues with money/gifts/trips, (that is a problem in and of itself) and yep that works for some things but that does not ever get to the root problem. And I hope for the sake of the kids that they do not think that is how to work thru conflict, i.e. throw some money at it,
The family company may survive but it is under constant Federal review and scrutiny, due to what they do, and how they do it, probably will see that industry get even more regulated, that biz model makes for an uneven playing field and benefits only a few, and the Feds know that - will it even be around in 5 years? I am sure Don is optimistic but the government may have other ideas. Public info shows that they came close to disaster( Federal inquiry) in NYC and wonder how that played into this East Coast Ross family ending up on the North Shore of Chicago, I mean the real story of the money. Not the blather that gets printed in the trade magazines. Careful Tens know what you are signing up for. Also, Jen blew this marriage up which money-wise looks crazy to the rest of us on paper, she may have saved herself huge grief, in the long run, if you get my drift. | Thanks so much for finding the YODA painting, I was about to go back down the rabbit hole of finding it, but yep that is THE ONE I saw and going with the theory that was put forth: Tens may have been friends with Emily first (???) as the more I think about it that is a very personal gift, especially of a departed pet (How did I miss yoda going to rainbow bridge? ugh I was slacking!)
Also with going with the theory that Don purchased those sunnies for TENS, even with a decent job when you have 3 kids, bills, and yeah, $800 sunglasses are not in the budget, my thought as said before a gift to make the insane RV to Utah trip more palatable to Tens who probably did think for a min, "hmmm going out to Utah w your ex and divorce not finalized???" I am putting money on there were other gifts to smooth that over, and it all blew up in Utah anyway when the modest one-piece ruffle neck swimwear did not bring Don back to Jen.
Thanks to all Bakers who are amazing at finding all the things!
Looking forward to welcoming all to Illinois, will try to locate a vendor to prepare bespoke goodie bags so you all can take home some chocolate cookies, you know, like we do, (not do) lol - |

I’m starting an Historical Bus Tour of the life of Jennifer Ross. We include RM 1.0, the private neighborhood park Jen walked, her favorite local Starbucks, Donald’s first bachelor pad post separation, and Fam Jam houses. For lunch we will stop at Whole Foods where Jen lunched with her mother Jill. For the walking part of the tour, we will have a 1 hour stop at Target ($3 spending voucher included!!!).

Tickets are $25/pp (No children allowed). Includes commemorative photo of Jen crying as she waves goodbye to RM1, and one piece of Don’s meat of choice. Oh hell yeah! I'm in! Will be happy to treat everyone on the tour with a complementary block of KerryGold for their own freezer!
Will be happy to help with the field trip and lead the group to Old Orchard the shopping mall where we can each go in, purchase something we do NOT NEED, take it to our car, and then perhaps drive to Evanston to the Spice Shop and then circle back to said shopping mall and return all UNEEDED items purchased. Also, If needed those with Tiffany jewels can get them cleaned while the remainder of the not 1% can wait outside w me. |

| I have been reading here for about 2 years, have watched Jen almost since day 1, got many ideas for purchases that were actually worth it, (she and her consumption are way above my pay grade lol) and here I posted once, and took it down: it was the post of Winnie and the word "Yep" wherein I thought she was trying to tell us the dog died, that was during 2020 in an Instagram story, someone else here addressed it, as clearly it was very misleading re that status of her dog.
I fell "called" to post today because altho I did not ask for any Tens & Don pics, you awesome bakers left enough crumbs for me to find a great deal on the new Mrs. Ross, and I do think they had a quick ceremony out of county to keep the marriage certificate out readily available public info.
2 very very public photos of the new Mrs Ross are on FB one shows that apparently she commissioned a potrait of Yoda back in April, why would one do that? maybe I missed something, but usually that is done to memorialize a dog after it is gone, so my theory is she is close enough to Emily to commission a painting of Yoda, and again this is very publid and was not hard to find.
Next, is a photo of the new Mrs. Ross from last year early Aug 2020 in suglassed that she is modeling (???) for an eyewear establishment, again, VERY public and no breaking any wall there, they are very expensive $800 sunglasses and the eyewear establishment has this as a photo to promote the sunglasses but thanks her, so Don Don was buying her pretties
And agree w the theory that this was a friendship or they knew each other from biz interactions and well one day they saw each other and were no longer in friend zone.
Thanks to all who post a lot, agree, Jen is missing the boat on the tons of content this could provide and her channel, instead of failing could be going way up in the numbers on SocialBlade thus giving her $$$ and head pats. |
