I think Jen doesn't like protein so she just doesn't buy it. She made a huge deal iver buying deli meat for Charlotte. The kids should like and only eat what she likes. |

| | My ex husband was a lot like Jen. He had a shopping addiction, wanted to do things by himself for himself, was rigid, sad when things would not go his way, etc.. For 5 years I thought he had depression. I tried to get him to go to a doctor. I would do everything I could to make him happy. Finally one morning I was laying in bed and it dawned on me that he wasn't depressed, he was just a selfish jerk. A few months later I filed for divorced. I am projecting here but I think Don may have done something similar. I think Jen is mad Don left her when he saw what she truly was. |

| | We shouldn't read much into the devestating news. Jen's priorites are so messed up that what would be devestating news to her wouldn't phase most and vice versa. Devestating news to Jen is only news that makes her life harder. I do not thing anyone dying would even bother her. |

| | I always found it and still find it fascinating how Jen goes overboard splurging on every hobby and vice. From the peloton to the tea and chocolate subscriptions to the planners and so much more it is just so excessive. Normal people have a few things they splurge on, but not Jen. Everything for her must be a splurge. |

| | Jen always seemed to look down on Scott and Bev's not so clean or organized home, but Jen at her core is just like them. I agree with SmoothieslikeLily. Jen was trying to fit in with the Ross' and impress even her own parents with her lifestyle with Don, but Jen is not like either. Jen is a lazy slob. She wants to eat sweets and play on her phone all day. |

| | I don't believe Jen feels shame over her spending or feels overwhelmed by the amount of things. I think she is sad she lost her cash cow. Don was always just an unlimited bank account to her. She was repulsed by him and disliked him. She is sad she cannot brag as much on the internet. I think Jen's only happiness comes from bragging. |
