Couldn't help but notice all the framed artwork shoved in a corner in her dining room. It is astounding that she is too lazy to hang them. She was an art history student ffs! She has no concept of self expression or specialized interests.

I know this has been said before but Jen has really put zero effort into making her house a home. It looks like she just moved in a week ago. Her life is so truly empty. It's so sad (I don't pity her though, she cultivated this life for herself). She shelled out the big bucks for a big house in an affluent neighbourhood. She leaves the interior empty and grey. All she cares about is the facade. No wonder she has to be gentle with herself all the time, she knows that beneath all the bells and the whistles she has nothing, and no amount of william sonoma spoons will fill that void.

    Oooo snow and a mug.....riveting

But don't you know, Jen is so brave for showing up and sharing her experience of living through a snowstorm :hearty-laugh: . With her children no less, for whom she has generously provided bananas and bread.

It's just... SO perplexing that Jen has all the money and time in the world, yet makes no effort to decorate her house or do anything special for her kids. I've never seen someone with so money be so downright boring.

Now I'm no fitness expect, but I noticed this in both her IG stories where she was doing planks, and in this most recent yoga pic. Her hips aren't low enough to engage her core like that pose is meant to. She is just beefing up her shoulders to the high heavens.

Also, miss 1% can't afford a phone tripod?

I always found it odd that Jen was so secretive about her infamous doll room. That is arguably the only thing she hoards that could be viewed as valuable collectibles (although admittedly I'm not well versed in the resale value of American Girl dolls..). There's an entire doll community on youtube. She could have ~connected~ with lots of people, and felt less weird about her niche interest. But then again, to Jen, her doll collection was probably just as meaningless to her once the shopping high wore off.

I would LOVE to have been a fly on the wall when Jen was with her divorce lawyers, trying to explain that yes she ~has a job~, while trying to milk as much alimony from Don as possible :hearty-laugh:

Does Jen know that if she actually put effort into her "content", she wouldn't have to put her pathetic life on display?
Instead, somehow she's acting like a selfless martyr who benevolently vlogs her existence for the masses.

I feel like Jen is caught between a rock and a hard place. She's got no friends, no hobbies, no interests. Social media is the only place where she gets her narcissistic supply. Not only from the attention and adoration that she gets, but also from being able to act like she has a job (oops sorry CAREER). I've no doubt that she would drop YT like a hot potato if she could get that supply from anywhere else, but how can you do that with no friends, no hobbies, no interests or ANY desire to do anything for other people?

I have a feeling that part of the reason why she got divorced is because she used her "career" as an excuse to avoid caring for her children. If she had to take care of the kids while Don worked, shouldn't Don also take care of them while she "works"?? I bet Don thought Jen would finally give up YT once they had kids, yknow, real responsibilities instead of vlogging their gluttony on YT for pennies.
Once Jen proved that she could not be a mother, which is probably the only thing Don really expected of Jen (other than you know.. treating him well.. gag), it was over.

I know we're not supposed to diagnose or whatever, but as far as I'm concerned Jen is a narcissist through and through. I hope her kids will be alright.

Hi folks! Long time lurker, it's been a pleasure to read your hilarious insights over the years.

I finally finished watching Jen's new year's resolution video (had to watch in 2 separate instalments at 1.5 speed), and I had to comment on this... I found it downright EERIE the way she talked about spending ~precious~ time with Winnie, and that their time together is limited. I get that Winnie is no spring chicken at 11 years old, but the way Jen was talking about her, it sounded like she had one foot in the grave.

I wouldn't put it past Jen to get a new puppy as soon as Winnie passes. And I don't doubt that she will be more excited about a new puppy than she has ever been about her children.
