I'm really surprised they went that far at this time of year. With end of school obligations, they should not be gone that long. And going to Asia for any less than 2 weeks is ridiculous IMO.
Traveling to Bali is no joke. It is almost 30 hours of flying each way. AA takes them on Qatar airlines via Doha (which means they traveled in QSuites, I wonder if she'll brag about that or pretend she is poor like her readers--though I'm sure they booked it using miles.) You are flip-flopping your days and nights which sucks and takes forever to adjust to. I've been to Bali twice and it is more a cultural destination rather than a beach destination (unless you are a big surfer.) And so far all we've seen is a beach because Drew must tan and a fancy resort insulating them from the culture. I'm sure they'll have some stupid private guide tours (which, in Asia, means they'll be taken to tacky tourist shops and restaurants and expected to spend on overpriced trinkets and food to support the guide's friends.) It will be a waste of time and money. |

| They were on two regular planes with a transfer at a US airport so they didn't go any further than the Caribbean. Could they be big enough tools to go back to Lovango?
She's had that Chloe bag for a while now. But they look ridiculous with their twinning LV rollers, her Chloe bag, his LV backpack and probably their coordinating Gucci sneakers. |

| I thought the same thing when she said that about the grandparents--trying to deflect comments about never being there for her kids.
I also thought it was odd that when Andrew left to pick up the new dog in California, she said they told the kids he had to go check on the Nantucket house. Yet, the whole family were flying there just 3 days later. The kids didn't go, huh--why, we're going this week? Did they question it in any way? Are they so used to their parents just up and leaving they no longer pay it any mind? |

| That has been a big travel day. She hasn't even released comments from yesterday's blog. I bet they went to Bora Bora to those over-water huts or to Singapore so she could finally live out her Crazy Rich Asian fantasy (which, of course, is impossible.)
It will be so incredibly boring if they just went to some city in Europe. |

She makes money from commissions from hotels, cruises, flights, private guides, etc. Disney or a cruise will pay them 10-15% (I don't know specifics) of all trips they book. So if someone books a Disney hotel, 5 days of park tickets, and a dining plan, Shay will earn 15% of that total. But if Classic Vacations is planning the international trips, then Shay might only get 5% of those.
I'd love to know how she pays the employees. Is it a cut of the commission? Is it hourly? Is it salary? She has mentioned providing payroll and benefits (like those women depend on Shay for their health insurance-sure.) |

| This is the breakdown of work that I assume based on what she has said...
Erika and Jane plan all Disney vacations.
Clare and Shanna plan all international vacations. On the agency's Mexico getaway last year, Clare tagged Classic Vacations, which is a travel planner that does the planning for travel advisors. It appears that Shay outsources all planning to this group and Clare and Shanna are just the point person for the client. This is how she can plan all international trips with just 2 people. But it also means that she makes a lower commission. When I looked at CV they had a job opening for a travel planner at a whopping $17/hr rate. No disrespect to minimum wage earners, but how much experience can you have if you are willing to make $17/hr.
Brooke plans all cruises. Shanna might help too.
I can't remember where Hannah fits in, she helps one of the above.
Kensie does social media.
Caroline is the office manager.
The person tagged who wasn't at the lunch is a new employee.
I do believe she has a lot of stupid clients. She is an excellent salesperson and her fangirls fall for everything hook, line and sinker. If you're a fan, want to go on vacation, do not where to start planning, and you don't know anyone who travels, you would turn to Shay.
Personally, I wouldn't trust Erika to do my grocery shopping from a list so I definitely would not entrust my expensive Disney vacation to her. But there are plenty of suckers out there who would. |

| Given how bad her May the 4th quote was today, I was reminded of something she said on the May 1st giveaway post. When she asked people to engage with the community, she offered, "maybe that means you’re sharing an IG quote of mine."
NONE of the quotes are hers. And she doesn't attribute credit to at least half of them. She is just stealing them. Then, she has the gall to bribe people to reshare them attributing credit to her.
It is just like calling every recipe MY/MINE. None of them are.

I had the same thoughts on both topics! She didn't wear one daffodil but I think she about covered every other flower.
It's weird that she would outright say he was done with violin. Are his private lessons over too? Maybe she will address it as a Friday favorite tomorrow.
And rowing. They bought the kid his own boat for god's sake and there has been zero rowing content since a Saturday morning in January. They didn't go to the OKC or TX regattas in April like they did last year so there is no way he is still rowing. |
