Bev shouldn't be feeding Howie canned tuna everyday either, even the low sodium kind. She should be getting out of bed in the morning and make him a proper lunch. Roast a chicken for dinner the night before. Make a nice chicken sandwich on whole wheat bread and Becel margarine, put some salad in a takeaway bowl and a small container of salad dressing or a wedge of lemon and a banana. The next day heat a flask with boiling water, then put some hot homemade chicken vegetable soup in it a salad and a banana. Tuna maybe once or twice a week or canned salmon. But even better, steam some fish the night before, it takes no time to cool down and flake it up. Damn lazy. Yeah and make sure he eats a banana everyday for potassium. We are retired now, but when my husband worked, he looked forward to my lunches, especially when I packed hot homemade soup in a flask. He didn't want to waste his lunch break standing in line for the microwave.

Well hubby's BP is a touch high as we just went to the doctor's in person for the first time since March 2020. So....You all know what that means. We both have blood tests to do and I bet our cholesterol is off to. So..... Starting today, no more cream in coffee, limit cheese, butter. No more 6 pack and a box o wings for Saturday night for the hubby . Time to get out the steamer and eat more fish n veggies again. More whole grains n beans and no canned foods. Been kinda letting things slide because of lockdown and a houseful of food.

For sure Michele misses her mother, but I bet she feels more guilty and ashamed. All those times she travelled into the city to shop and she only visited her mother like once every couple of months. I would think she be visiting every time she made the trip into the city. And then her mother was diagnosed with alzheimer's. She should of realized her mother didn't have much time on earth left. Shame on you Michele and you should have also have made that bedroom dweller of a son to go with you more.

I think there is a lot of food waste that goes on in the Volfie household. From freezer burnt foods, to foods going mouldy to garden not properly taken care of, to pressure canning and waterbath canning going bad because of sheer laziness. And cooking copious amounts of food at a time where the leftovers are tossed. She doesn't know how to cook or manage her inventory. Again because of being lazy. And she must eat a lot of those pot edibles, because that is one thing that will send you back to bed. A puff or two from a joint is not going to make you like that.

I find homemade whole wheat bread needs to be half all purpose flour, unless you proof it for a long time in a warm moist environment. It's just too dense = high carb count. Well today there is a 10 oz NY striploin out for dinner, but also hubby picked up a 3 lb package of lean ground beef. So I am thinking about butchering up that steak soon and making crockpot stew and taking a lb of that ground beef before the rest goes in the deep freezer and making a small meatloaf for sandwiches.

Can you all tell me why 2 old people have to worry about the price of bread? Even if Bev got store bought bread the prices in Canada are $1.70 for the store brand or $3 for higher end store bought like Country Harvest. And 2 old people shouldn't be purchasing more than one loaf a week and maybe a 6 pack of bakery kaizers that cost 3 bucks. Oh BTW I don't freeze homemade bread. I don't like how it comes out of the freezer. Store bought I will freeze because of the preservatives in it. Homemade bread I make one loaf at a time.

I won't purchase Primo pasta. Only real Italian pasta made with semolina or Catelli smart pasta for me. Those big bags of Primo pasta are horrid. The manufacturer has diluted them down so much that they cook fast and don't have that aldente bite.

I like pasta, but not too much of it at a time, more meat sauce than pasta and must be accompanied with a salad with no salad dressing, just salt and pepper, a squeeze of lemon or a small dollop of mayo. Yesterday Hubby and I went to doctors appointments and both got flu shots, then we decided to go to a restaurant for lunch, since we are both double vaxed and I figure we might as well eat out in case all hell breaks loose again. It's nice ya know to go and be served in a restaurant, eventhough it costs 4 times or more than eating at home. Well I had a steak thawed out for dinner last night that we didn't eat and woke up this morning to steak n eggs n fried mushrooms, onions and potatoes that hubby prepared. We are both retired so....Hubby has a lot of health problems that are far from his heart, but he has been in the hospital 5 times this year for various procedures. We look after each other.

I don't say much on this forum because you Bakery people pretty much say it all, plus I'm one of those quiet thinker types, but....I have come to the conclusion that it's not a bed of roses and wedded bliss over there in Volfie land and it's been going on for at least 3 or 4 years. I think it all started to unravel around the time that motor coach was purchased and then the racecar. It was all for Howie to get out from under those giant hoofs of his loving wife's control. He doesn't want her at the track and I wonder what shenanigans he really gets into. It's all a big power struggle now. With Bev buying bullshit to further her YouTube career, just incase Howie boy leaves her for another woman and she needs income. Her increased use of drugs, the house not being cleaned, no effort in making Howie's dinner, etc. It all adds up.

I have to say that apple butter swirl bread looks scrumptious and Grimakin's dish does also. I am gonna try making the apple butter soon. But tonight I have a couple of big fat apples out and making baked apples and icecream for dessert and took out 2 filets of salmon to make pan fried fish n chips and homemade coleslaw. Yeah I can't seem to watch anymore than a minute of Bev's videos now a days. Her food has no color or love. I fear her brain has gone to mush from her addictions and a touch of alzheimer's.

I find using plain Greek or Balkan yogurt in the bread dough makes a nice soft sandwich loaf.

I tell you what she is using that big Kitchen Aid for. It is to make her cannabis edibles to illegally sell. So everyone who donated are contributing to crime. YEAH

You tell me why two old empty nesters, who don't entertain or even have family over need an industrial Kitchen Aid? I never gave any money to that ebeggar and never will donate to any ebeggars. I have just a 10 year old classic model Kitchen Aid that I purchased 10 years ago and it is just fine for what I need it for. A $30 electric hand mixer will do most of what I need and can knead a loaf or two of bread dough without the use of anything else but my hands.

Of course Mushell has lots of anxiety and stress, over the past 8 years she's been trying to unschool her mentally challenged son, with her mush brain and has realized that her and the dwarf's brain capacity to teach their feral child how to live in society has failed. If I was her, I'd be afraid. BE VERY AFRAID MUSHELL. Your inability to raise that child properly is about to bite you in your big fat arse in you and the dwarf's golden years. Que the David Bowie muzak, in your cra cra mind.

Not being able to stand for very long is a poor excuse for not cooking properly. There's a woman who on YT who cooks and is wheelchair bound. Debbie, I think her channel is called Food Prepping. Bev can sit and prep and cook if she wanted to. Bev's problem is she can't pull herself away for a half hour or so from being a social media diva. Especially since she found tiktok.
