.You would think if Nordstrom gave you a stipend to go out and buy things for a holiday gift guide that you would use the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. Get your 'work' done and get presents at the same time. Marnie doesn't have any women in her life so all of those 'gfits' are staying right with her or going directly back to the store. They really must be genuine selections if she is returning her own recommendations! What a con! And she's too stupid to see that she let her own hypocrisy be known.
She is a glorified digital sales person. A full time counter manager in the Nordstrom cosmetics department is lucky to have about 100 solid clients in her database (the ones who return and spend a significant amount). Nordstrom is smart enough to know that if even if this video gets only a small amount of views, they'll probably sell more through links than a person who is at their store day in and day out. It's only math. She should not feel special. I only hope that they didn't pay her much.
ETA: Just realizing now that she does not get a lot of views at all! I never noticed how low her view counts are and with the new YouTube algorithm I'm sure her audience will become even smaller.
You're right. Marnie has become a glorified salesperson & not a very good one to boot. Unimaginative & boring.
It's ironic that her video is titled, "Holiday Gifts for the Women in Your Life." As you mentioned, she doesn't have a lot of women around. Maybe her mom, her niece & Mallory? I don't know if she's close enough with Erin to do a real gift exchange?
It's kind of sad but Mikey is the same way, no male friends. They're so enmeshed with each other, they don't make room for individual friendships.. -

New vlogidays is up. Marnie is cuddling with Rowdy using some creepy doggy-mama voice. I know all about doggy-mama voices, I have one for my three dogs. I just hope I don't sound that weird! 
Zoya sends Godiva. Marnie said she's going to hide them in "her office." Does she mean the sitting area of their filthy, hairy bedroom? The area where they've crammed the Ikea YTube starter kit? That's her office? This woman has a rich & detailed fantasy life.
Now she has a "career" & an "office." She already has a camera guy & driver, Mr. Stubbs. Maybe she'll get an "assistant" next. I'm betting Mimi can handle the job.

The Mrs. chastises viewers for taking #Nametag Debate so seriously. Silly viewers, they were just "bantering." Marnie looked like she was about to pop a blood vessel but it was all in good fun. That's right, M & M "love to banter & argue." No biggie.
Then she said, "If you think that was an intense debate you should have seen us during the election season." Interesting. Are you dropping hints Mrs. G?
There are some couples who joke & tease, maybe banter back & forth in a loving way. It's funny & lighthearted. That's not M & M. They're more into the blood sport type of bantering. Marnie may tell herself "it's fun, we enjoy it" & "it's no big deal" but I say be careful.
Little resentments can build up when couples are continually trying to one-up each other or "win" over something. Plus, with these two it's more like one is trying to beat the other & the topic at hand is irrelevant. It's just today's tool to win with.
When fun banter turns into arguing, having a "winner" means that someone else is the "loser." When one partner ends up as the "loser" often enough, the fun starts to dwindle pretty quickly. Whether she's aware of it or not, those little resentments turn to bricks. Over time, those bricks form a wall. It happens quietly but steadily, until all of a sudden, one day, the wall is really big.

Am I the only one who thinks Michael would never cheat on Marnyard? Who would he cheat with? He is grotesque and offers ZERO personality-wise. It'd be another story if he was super rich but we've all seen him talk very seriously about his stumpy buckets and setting the tone... no way in hell would he blow his wad (literally and figuratively) on some random bimbo. Never mind the fear that Marnie has probably instilled in him if he ever strayed. I certainly wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of a scorned MsGoldGirl irl. I don't see it either. It's too huge a leap for me to make based on what we've been shown in vlogs. He seems very very traditional and uptight to me and if I had to guess, I'd say it's a line he doesn't cross.. -

I don't see Michael as the long standing affair "type." However, given his frequent travels & (my impression of) how he views women. It wouldn't be too big of a stretch for me to imagine an unplanned, one night stand. I agree, he does seem pretty uptight though.
Also, you're right, we haven't seen a lot of specifics in vlogs to judge from. This is all purely speculation.
One thing about cheating, there are some who look the part in an obvious kind of way & others who don't. Imo, the truth is that many (but definitely not all) people are capable of cheating given the "right" circumstances. Infidelity cuts across all demographics; income, religion, education, etc.
To be fair, I'm likely a bit biased given that I've seen my fair share of infidelity in a wide variety of troubled relationships over the past 20 years. (Professionally speaking, not personally)

Granted, they aren't going to show us footage of the two of them cuddling but I base my assessment more on things Marnie has said over the years. She just strikes me as a cold person. And seeing him with the dog...clearly, he's not as hard hearted.

I get what you're saying, it makes sense. Seeing him with Rowdy there is definitely a softer, gentler side to him.
ITA about Marnie being cold. Even with the dogs, there's only a certain distance she'll go that seems genuine.

I've said before, I peg him more as a porn addiction and strip club type, doubt it's anything like a girlfriend/relationship on the side. He's to cheap to spend the money on a girlfriend plus sorry to stereotype, but Jewish men rarely cheat.
