Wait what’s the “wrong” way? I don’t understand. Back clasps are most common and front closure is great for certain types (they can lift better in my opinion). Front closure is nice so it’s not digging into your back when you lean back.

That’s not what she was talking about. What she was saying is that when you put your bra on upside down to clasp but then turn it around so the clasp or in the back and then you put it on. If that makes sense?
