I keep a very small garbage bin and I mean it s the size of a supermarket bag. Why? I have dogs, I live in an area where fruit flies abound, I hate smelling trash. It goes out twice a day onto a larger outside bin. I hate lifting up a huge garbage bag out of one of those cans and it s just slip in there. Sorry. I also cut into pieces anything that can be cut in order to make room. I used to live in a small apartment and carried the habit. It s worked for us for years.
