I also think they did help Jen to the extent she was functional for many years (if only at faffing about as a busy bee…still in rewatch I am amazing at the volume of content she was pumping out. Real content and not just “Let’s chat” crapola.
My firm belief, without any real way to confirm, is that Jen suffered from done firm of PPD. That combined with her pre-existing issues and Don working more, instead of less, put her on this road.
Now she is in free fall. It doesn’t seem she has much of a support system, despite what she says. She admittedly had no friends. Her parents were never her support system - the Rosses were. I could see Suzanne trying to support Jen even now, but more one on one, with boundaries.

I don’t think so simply because she has not been at one Ross event since the divorce was finalized.
Now will Don take all the kids for the entire month of August? Hard to say. He definitely has the type of job that would allow it.
Perhaps Jen’s “I did a thing” creepy IG story was her booking a month away elsewhere while they are in Utah.
And speaking of Utah, I’m not seeing that Jeff, his fiancé or any other Rosses liked her memorial post to Betty… I swear I saw Emily did but I don’t see it now.

divorce finalized or not they were still done last summer and she went. bizarre
of course now there is a huge difference with him being engaged or married
he's never purposely been a dick to her. I could see him being like "whatever" to her going for a week or two before he arrives
I'd just feel so awkward if I were her. but apparently she didn't feel that way last summer so idk...

If Jen doesn't get to go to her heart home in August we are going to see nostrils flaring for sure. Maybe that's when we'll finally get the divorce story? Probably not, but we should try to manifest it.

Just rewatched the pantry purge from a few pages back. That pantry is all the proof anyone needs that “Organized Like Jen” was a complete sham. Her life was contained, not organized.
Jen should rewatch that, and use it as a lesson in why it’s not always worth it to buy rumpus everything, just “to have on hand.”
Oh, and I laughed at all the times she said, “we didn’t like this” or “Charlotte doesn’t eat these” and then kept them anyway ‘just in case.” So much for being ruthless in her purge efforts.

I've got one thing to say about that Pantry Purge. Thin Mint Cookies belong in the freezer, not the "dry goods pantry". That is all

No, I don't think she will go out and stay there. I think she might fly out with them, MAYBE stay one night at the log prison, but then she will go rent her van and will vanlife it while the kids are there with Don & Tens.

Do you live in the US? There was a blurb on the news this week about how the Girl Scouts have a lot of unsold cookies this year due to Covid, no school, and no parents selling to coworkers. You may be able to find a box or ten.
