I've never seen that far side before. Is that a snake pooper-scooper? LMAO. I had a class in herpetology. My professor would have liked that. He had the class over to his house with lots of snake terrariums in the basement. His wife was a saint.

Far Side cartoons with the snakes are my favorite!

No no NO! to snakes, especially in toilets (what about those pythons people have found waiting in their toilets?! UGH.) And also a no to big ol' spiders like the kind I've accidentally walked in to occasionally while out with my dog. Bugs and other creepy crawlers along with the ungodly heat and humidity are definitely some of the downsides of living in the southeastern US.

There was a large snake in my backyard the other day. And I was just out on the deck and saw a few bats flying around. No thank you to both.

I moved to the southeast 1.5 years ago and I've been pretty lucky. No snake encounters yet, the flying bugs here are big but the birds are so colorful and pretty! I love the sound of the bugs in the trees at night. We don't have a lot of trees on our property though, and we get a quarterly pest control service (a non negotiable by me when deciding to move here) and don't get me started on the lighting bugs! So cool!

I wonder if Jen knows that all these throwaway lines from her vlogs over the years have become catch phrases and our own language among the Bakers. She should be flattered

The lightning bugs here are always such an amazing sight, even after having lived in the southeast for so long!
