This thread made me actually set up an account after lurking on the Jen thread for like a shameful number of years!
Love Laura and Aaron. Just watched her plant a new crabapple. I need to pull so many weeds but we have a new baby and it’s been stupid hot here.
    Yay for gardening!

Hi, yes I am a little obsessed with Garden Answer. Even moved house to 2 acres after her inspiration.

We have 5 acres but are surrounded by crops and it’s hot and humid but windy. Seriously considering a move to PNW for more temperate weather. I would love to be able to grow camellias.
How exciting to have more area for you to garden!

I am also obsessed with her, even if I do think she’s sometimes a little ridiculous. I would be ridiculous too if I had the space and money that she does!

I ordered $200 of tulips and daffodils because of her video about putting them in pots like Claus Dalby, and I’m waiting for them to get here. I’ve never grown either before. And now I’m obsessed with Claus Dalby and am amassing a collection of pots so I can do a display like him.

Dahlias are now on my to do list for next year because of her and the impatient gardener.

I put hydrangeas (on clearance!) in the ground this past week at my house, and a dozen azaleas (also on clearance! $25 3 gallon azaleas for $6!) at an Airbnb property we own. I blame Laura for introducing me to auger bits that go on drills.

I'm here for inspiration as well. Going to check out Garden Answer! We just moved from California to Washington state, and while I dabbled a bit with cherry tomatoes and cucumbers in California, it's going to be a whole new ballgame up here in terms of growing seasons etc. We're currently renting with no usable balcony space, but hoping to start looking for a house in the next few months 🤞🏻

We did buy a big Aerogarden (one of the floor farm models) at the beginning of the pandemic and moved it with us. Maybe I should set it up at the apartment for the winter once we're done unpacking. Assuming we ever finish unpacking. 😭

Yay. My favourite topic. I have a whimsical garden with lots of ornaments and solar lamps. This is the first year I did some veggies. Tomatoes, basil and gourd. Someone gave me peppers that I thought were hot but turned out to be bell peppers 😂

Yoga fan, whimsical garden... you're painting a picture for me, LateKate 😄
I've never been successful with edibles, but I love having pots of pretty flowers!

Those ceramic self-watering pots Laura showed looked so great! Pricey tho

Are you all into houseplants, too? Have we stopped fertilizing them yet? (Chicago, northern hemisphere) It was still 90 degrees here last week

I’m slowly getting into houseplants though for whatever reason I’m more successful with outside plants 🤔

I was going to feed mine this week. Maybe I shouldn’t? I’m in Indianapolis. We’re going back up to the 80s next week.
