I can’t imagine YouTube and the fantasy type aesthetic she puts out is fun when it’s your job. Who wants to eat sleep and breathe a fantasy world 24/7? That’s the problem with these “romanticized” channels. They are fun for hobby, but not a sustainable life choice.

I can not think of anyone that I would pay to watch a movie with. The fantasy lifestyle seems like it would be exhausting, I could not imagine trying to pretend to be Anne of Green Gables all the time.

I wonder if they're still working on moving to Austria, wouldn't they need to have proof of steady income especially if you're self-employed? And wouldn't you not want to slack off on that to show you can keep the money rolling in?
What does her husband do for a living anyway, beside being her cameraman?
It still blows my mind that her sister Cherie is on a roll with putting out lots of videos on top of her full-time teaching job. Then again she doesn't need hours of hair, makeup and wardrobe unlike sis suiting up for "work"
I kind of like Desi, I just really think she's painted herself into a cosplay corner.

That's definitely her problem. She should mix in more "normal" videos - day in the life, book reviews, baking, etc - dressed like a sane person because those don't need any of her ridiculous outfits. Then do special aesthetic videos where she prances around like the queen of the fairies. It doesn't have to all be in costume.

I saw Desi's recent stories on IG, a long health update about her symptoms and testing. She still have covid related something going on or maybe it's anxiety. No autoimmune issues, clear MRI (they were checking for MS?). I think in an earlier update she saw a neurologist too? I can't remember now.
Also she said they're not going to move out of the country until her health issues are sorted out, or they wait until she qualifies to get long covid treatment at some nearby medical center. She hasn't said what country it is they're moving to.
Has anyone else been watching her updates?
