QUOTE (Just_Peopleing @ 5/18/2022, 08:40 PM) QUOTE (BespokeMuffins @ 18/5/2022, 19:36) I'm going to post my unpopular opinion that Hugh was a terribly Harold Hill but Sutton was terrific. But leave it to Jen to see the two most expensive productions on Broadway right now. Really? You didn’t like Hugh? It was my son’s first show with a well-known actor and he couldn’t wait to see Hugh. We waiting three years. It had a lot of build up. His excitement must of worn on me because I thought he was good. Now, Sutton she stole the show. If the tickets weren’t so damn expensive I’d take him again. He enjoyed it that much. I didn't like him - I'm a Robert Preston girl. He didn't have the presence I thought. But yes Sutton stole the show and the ensemble especially the kids were fantastic. I'm glad I went but I'm kind of tired of revivals.

Tens was relishing the memory of slipping on her Loubs and dancing the night away as our Jen was relishing the memory of a whole wheat everything bagel. Warms my heart.

Off topic, but I watched an old video (Obviously Glorious (Weekend Vlog / September 13 - 14, 2014))… and Jen asked Don what noise Chewbacca makes.
Our little long-time Star Wars mega-fan.

“Travel season” 🙄🙄 Aka - I can finally get away from my children and house that makes me miserable.
I didn’t get to watch much of the video yet (full time WFH job and toddler at home - Gene could never) but these “artsy” shots she tries to do kill me. “Ok, let me set up my camera riiight here so I can get a candid of me sprawling out on the bed.” I always wonder how many times she has to do those types of shots before she gets it just right 😂Attached Image

I have a friend who works in NY. I'm the other side of the Atlantic, she will often facetime me as she is walking home. Those video calls are way more exciting than that Jen drivel. She has shown me so many interesting things and places.
I'm sick of seeing the rooms Jen stays in, and listening to her waffle on and on, about herself. If it's a travel vlog about NY, make it about NY ffs. This constant repeat of her struggles and joy "and everything inbetween" is so friggin boring.
Also hate her softly softly voice. Its so damn fake.

I literally gasped when the perfectly medium rare steak showed up... and then immediately followed by the vegan ice cream listings.
I get that she's no longer vegan anymore but I wasn't expecting it.

The way she kept commenting on how tiny that room was…
Girl, that’s a huge room by NYC standards. Welcome to travelling to NYC without your cager.

I watched that movie often throughout my childhood. I watched it again in January to introduce my son to the show so he’d be familiar with the music. We can’t compare Hugh to him.
Funny Girl was awful! Don’t bother.
I agree. I’ve had enough of revivals.

The steak is to show off that she (Don) can afford it and is better than you.
The vegan ice cream is to show off that she is trendy and is better than you.
